Coming up to summer now and we all love a Bar-B-Q.
They have one to fit every budget they also have some lovely outdoor furniture, dinner set's and the out door plastic glass wear has come along way since the clumpy stuff we used to use.

Something for every Budget and some great gifts, Great place to go Christmas gift shopping as you find something to suit everyone.
Heaps of parking and helpful staff.

The Old Boundary Hotel is one of my fave pup's in Bendigo. You do need to book most of the time.
It is small and a little cramped but what it lack in space makes up for with charm and character. There is a little History with the hotel and hanging around the wall's.

The meals are always substantial so unless your REALLY hungry don't get an entrée although they are hard to resist as there are some nice choice's, I always find my eye's are bigger than my belly and have one to share anyway.
I Love their rib-eye and it is always cooked perfectly but I never seem to be able to finish it even if I don't have an entrée.
The meals do take a little time to come out so I try to make a booking when it's not to busy as in right on Dinner time, but are always hot and just what you ordered.

I think they could do with more parking, but there doesn't seem to be anywhere for it, so as I said above, if you know you going to go, go earlier

I love there Do-Nut's they are the Best in Bendigo and I feel no matter where you live in the surrounding are I would drive there just for those and have done so many time's.
They are there some weekdays but mostly weekends. I have found it to be a bit disappointing if have have driven from Huntly to get there and have then to drive home with none.
They take Jan and Feb off as it is to hot in the van.

Their are other vendor's in the car park at Rotary Park Kangaroo Flat at time's and I is a nice place to feed the duck's grab a coffee and a do-nut and take time out for an 1hr

Approximate cost: $7.50 for 6

We used to live near her and were walking to another shop and decided to stop in for lunch. The Lunch menu was $10 a meal at the time, and was great, cooked well great choice and didn't take forever to come out. You can also dine outside and it's not to noisy.
The bar staff are friendly and happy to help.
The drinks didn't taste watered down either so I did like that.
Plenty of parking

We did enjoy it and there should be more that do $10 menu I feel as its nice to get out for lunch at time's

I went her once with my Daughter only a little while ago and can't say I was impressed, I don't think I will return as I like a quiet dinning experience. I know in all place's there is nose but this was excessive it seemed to bounce from the floor to the ceiling and gave me a headache. I had the Lasagne that was nice, but by the time it came my head was so bad I didn't enjoy it at all, the order was wrong also, so I just pushed aside the items I had asked NOT to be there.
I'm in my 50's so maybe I'm just to old for a place like this?

This review is for Black Kettle Tearooms, Sassafras VIC

It was a sunny day when we visited The Black Kettle, we just needed Coffee that day and chose to have just coffee and cake on the terrace outside that overlooked the town, so It was a great view from up there. The Coffee was great and I like mine 1/2 strength, it was just right, hard to do for most as I can normally make two cups out of just the one, and the Cake was a large serve a bit hard to get through really, but SO Good.

All of the food is fresh home made and looked Delish, who doesn't love and all day breakfast.
They have home made preserves and jams that I have heard are lovely.

This store takes me back to my childhood with the lollie's I remembered from back then. A nice range of the popular one's we know and love from the USA and UK and other place's around the globe also. They have pre packaged bag's or you can buy by the weight.
Some soft drinks also cute little place a nice place to visit when you go to the mountains.

This review is for Tea Leaves, Sassafras VIC

I visit this tiny shop where ever I'm in town, I love it so much. They boast 300 tea's but when you go in it looks to be more, it;s hard to choose for me but I;m a Chai fan and there is a great range. There is one tea that I would never have picked myself, but the lady was so nice that day and gave me a sample bag of Terry's Blend, I love it and will be getting it again, it's so refreshing and has a lovely after taste of citrus.

A wonderful range of tea pots and cup's a few bicky's to enjoy with your selection, accessories to go with the art of tea making.
Parking is hard on a weekend I find going during the week much better as it is a tourist town.
