For authentic Italian Food (not pizzas and pastas) which is like what your Mama (if you had an Italian Mother) cooked you can't go past this place. The seafood is cooked, but not over cooked, the dishes arrive hot and full of flavour. It's not heavy in your face flavours, but flavour that spreads through your palate as you work your way through the meal.

If you're after a great steak then this is the place to be. You can tell it's good when they don't take bookings so you need to get there early or be prepared to wait. The menu lists all types and kinds of steaks with many sauces and there's an unlimited salad bar to accompany your steak. Steaks are grilled over an open flame and the cooking ensures that no matter what your taste (well done, medium, rare) the meat is tender and juicy. They do however have a different idea of what garlic bread is - the garlic bread came out as bread rolls and garlic butter on the side!

If I could rate this business as 1/2 a star I would... I had an torn calf muscle which required treatment - however the physio did not do any massage and gave ultrasound heat treatment for two weeks. Then he tried to get me to stretch the calf muscle without massage which was extremely painful. Not only that, he put electrical stimulation on the injured leg and put the pressure on so high that it caused immense pain and I was screaming for him to come and turn the machine down as he left the room, but he did not come back - luckily I managed to work out how to turn down the pressure. I was not impressed as he seemed to be working on two to three patients at the one time. This meant that I spent time waiting for him to return - left lying there wondering what was next! Not recommended at all.

A visit to this physio with an injury was most frustrating. Instead of treatment the majority of time was spent discussing the injury and what to do. So we spent around 25 minutes discussing the injury and 10 minutes of treatment. This wasn't just for the first visit, but also the second visit as well as later what I found was incorrect diagnosis! Originally he discussed possible "blood clots" in the leg and I was worried so I went and tested for Deep Vein Thrombosis which thankfully was not the case, however upon return he then changed the diagnosis to something else! I don't mind the first visit being mostly discussion but when the second visit is still more discussion and little treatment for an injury which happened months ago I think it just needed treatment which another physio did for me on the first visit!

Injured from playing sport and need treatment without being messed around? These guys don't waste time, they spend the time to diagnose the injury and immediately begin working on you. They don't spend ages talking about the problem or issue. The only issue I have is that the treatment time is short - around 20 minutes - normally treatment times at physios is around 30-45 minutes.

You thought that a potato is a potato is a potato... well try potatoes with a twist - take a fresh, hot potato, heap lots of ingredients in the right mix and style and voila a filling, healthy and satisfying meal on the run. They have pre mixed ingredient selections or you can make your own. My favourite is the Hawaii Five 0 which includes beetroot, pineapple, sour cream, chive butter, and more - very generous size and filling! There is also the option of salads however the last visit the salad wasn't so generous (less than half full in the box!) However the company offered to give some vouchers to retry again so hopefully on the next visit it will be more generous!

Open 24 hours, this place is a great stop for a late night snack or a simple stack of pancakes. Favourite of mine is the crepe escape which is a fresh crepe filled with cheese and ham with pineapple and a bit of salad on the side. Pancakes are reasonable sized and topping selection is good. Only thing detracting from the meal is the price of drinks $10+ for some basic non alcholic drinks is a bit much... and the service - sometimes you need to drag the waiter/waitress over to take the order or want to order more!

Great range of pastas and pizzas from woodfired oven. Food is fresh and service is good. Pizzas not too thick and not too thin and Pasta range is good - try the abruzzese pasta with chicken, sundried tomatoes and tomato cream sauce.

The restaurant has changed hands and is now under ownership of some Chinese people (The original owners were Japanese). The quality/taste of the food has declined and lacks the zest/freshness of its original menu. Whilst many dishes listed are the same, the taste is different. It is unfortunate that the standard has not been maintained :(

Staff at Plenty Valley Pets at home are well versed in fish and there is an amazing aquarium there with over 20 tanks of almost every kind of fish. You can tell that they really care about the fish because when a new supply comes in all tanks are quarantined to ensure that the fish are healthy and that you don't go home with half sick fish. When I purchased fish from here the prices were a lot lower than other stores (between $1 to $3 cheaper) and they take great care in ensuring that the fish are safe for travel by settling the fish down in the bag, putting a brown paper bag around the bag with the fish and conducting a quick health check to ensure the fish is ok. It is the same with the plants, great care seems to be taken with plants for the tank and the size of the plants are much better than other stores. From time to time they also have sales with discounts off maintenance items such as water ager, stress zyme etc and there is a frequent buyer scheme whereby if you spend $370 odd or more in a year you recieve a $25 voucher - don't think I will reach this with only a few fish, however if you have a dog or a cat, it probably would reach that level in a year!
