Penguin Peach offers a wide range of children's clothing at highly discounted prices. They sell Disney, and Warner Bros character pyjamas for under $15, however I do believe they are imported 'knock offs'. Children's jewellery and accessories can also be purchased from here. There's not much acknowledgement from staff when you walk in (which can be a good thing, because you dont feel obliged to buy), however when purchasing at the counter, the staff are quite friendly.

I've read the previous review for RJ's and I have to say that I completely disagree! I love the freshness of their sandwiches and their generous fillings. You HAVE to have it toasted-otherwise it just doesnt taste the same! But they do give you an option. I'd recommend the vegetarian one with pesto, eggplant, capsicum and spinach, and the chicken schnitzel one. At lunchtime, it does get quite busy, but the staff work as quickly as possible to get through all orders fast. As for pricing, they only charge $8 and the serving size is quite large and very filling!

Small prices for a small store! Im in love with ShuGo at the moment, and their wide range of flats, sandles, boots and wedges. I purchased a pair of boots from here a few winter's ago for $65 and they are still in perfect condition and are as comfy as can be! I like the layout of the store, because they place their sale stock in the middle, and full priced items on the walls, so if you're in a hurry you know where to head straight away! The only thing I dont like is that they dont have half sizes, however I'm not sure if they dont make them or they're just always out of stock.

This gorgeous little gift shop is tucked away in the streets of Five Dock. Although it is tiny, they have made good use of the space provided, so that all items are easily accessible and not prone to being knocked over. They stock gifts for children such as girls handbags, necklaces, Tinkerbell keepsakes, and gifts for adults too, and constantly have new items coming in. I love their pieces of jewellery and jewellery boxes as they are both quite elegant looking, and not too expensive- they stock items for everyone's budget. The lady that works in there is so kind and helpful, and even went to the trouble of calling the supplier to find out when a product would be in for me. I was really happy with such great service.

Powder room is only a small store located in Ashfield Mall, which sells earrings, bracelets, necklaces, Pandora beads (fake), charms, nailpolishes and hair accessories. They sell highly discounted products, so the expectations for their products are not high. I've purchased a few beads for my Pandora and the colour has faded slightly, but they are still in reasonable condition. The ladies there are nice and don't have a problem with you browsing.

Just went to get my battery changed and he literally ripped my watch apart and fixed it within a couple of minutes. The man that works there is really friendly and knowledgable. Will definitely be returning.

Guaranteed fresh fruit everytime you visit. They constantly have great specials on their produce and the store is always looking tidy and well stocked. Also, I often purchase my pastizzis, and pastina from here.

Ive been a customer at Bags Bay Ashfield for many years now and have purchased many bags and wallets for myself and others. The lady that owns the shop is really nice and always willing to give you a cheaper price than the one that is marked. They often have '3 days only' sales (which last longer than three days!) that allow you to pocket a bargain. Before my last holiday I purchased a JAG 3 piece luggage set, which I was really pleased with.

I usually dont trust many sushi shops with fear of food poisoning, however this one of the cleanest and freshest places I've ever eaten at. You can often see them making the sushi out the front, so you know exactly what's gone into it. The Japanese staff are really friendly, and always smiling and aren't stingy with their fillings. I'd personally recommend the tuna and avocado sushi at only $2.80.

Tucked away in a little corner of Marketplace lies Toys 4 Kids. Although its a small store, its jam packed with LOTS of little knick knack for kids. Last time I visited the store, I was very impressed with the range of Lego they offered for boys AND girls. Their prices competitive, and they do have sales here and there.
