Tuesday and Wednesday nights are BYO which is great for us to pull a Penfolds 707 out of the cellar or another gorgeous bottle of wine. Fabulous lives up to its name - it IS Fabulous. Great service from Ross - scrumptious food, and some entrees good to share. It's a real gem in the 'burbs.
My daughter and two grandies to to Red every Wednesday - our special treat to ourselves. April is gorgeous! What a delight and breath of fresh air she is. The two grandies meet her with calls of, "Aaaa-pppp-rrr-iiii-llll!!!" Like she's a long-lost Auntie!! The food is fabulous - and Red has a lunch-time special including a glass of wine or beer, and a coffee, tea or hot chockie - all very reasonably priced.
A little oasis in the middle of a light industrial area. Highly recommend for brekky, or brunch but our lunch with friends was delightful. Food magnificent and so very reasonably priced. A good wine list too, and they don't go the gouge with prices.
My husband and I have just spent a glorious weekend at the Appin B&B Homestay, NSW. It is located in the historic little town of Appin about an hours' drive south of Sydney. Sue and Kevin are the ultimate hosts; Sue is an absolute foodie and serves cappuccinos and freshly baked berry muffins and the best breakfasts in the world!. The beds are magnificent - so comfortable with only the best organic cotton linens used. This is one of the best B&B's in the world in which we've stayed. Spoil yourself or someone you love!
