‘’I recently used the personal coaching service offered by Sviatlana Starr. I came to her with a severe anxiety problem, and a lack of clarity about a few important issues. After seven sessions with Sviatlana I achieved all the goals that I had defined for coaching. My anxiety levels have reduced significantly, to the point that I now feel in control of my emotions. I made a few important life decisions, after Sviatlana helped me gain clarity on a number of issues. Moreover, Sviatlana has helped me resolve some problems I had regarding sleep, my eating habits, and exercise. Sviatlana also helped me define my values and vision for my life. Overall, my self-esteem has improved.
I felt at ease discussing very personal issues with Sviatlana. She was a very good listener and was not judgmental. I recommend her service because she is easy to talk to, caring and passionate about making sure you achieve your goals; she also provides written feedback after each session and follows up each session with a phone call. Her service is excellent for anyone who wants to make important changes to their life.’’
My little girl and I are regular visitors of Central Gourmet. The coffee is great and reasonably priced. The owner is very friendly and always serves us with a smile. Located in Malvern Central, it is a nice spot to sit down and relax at, after doing the grocery shopping.
Patrick Gleeson has been my dentist for the past 25 years or so - he has looked after my teeth since I was a young girl. I have never had a filling - in part a testament to his care. He explains all treatments clearly, and I never have to wait long for my appointment. His practice is in a very convenient location - very near the number 8 tram. His staff is very friendly. I highly recommend his services.
This is my local Indian restaurant. I often get take-away from Banjara's, as well as dine-in. The food is fresh and servings are very generous. The prices are reasonable and the service is friendly.
Dr Michael was my obstetrician for the pregnancy/birth of my daughter (now 13 months old). His practice is in a very convenient location, within the Cabrini Hospital Malvern. Max was very matter of fact, appeared to be very experienced, and explained all medical procedures clearly. He responded promptly to email enquires and I did not have to wait long before each appointment with him. Although the birth of my daughter did not go as smoothly as I would have liked, Max made me feel at ease and dealt with all matters expertly. After the birth, Max checked up on me and my daughter each morning we were in hospital. I will definitely use his services again for any future pregnancies.
My 12 month old daughter and I go once a week to Cubbyhouse Canteen to meet up with our Mother's Group. This cafe is more than child friendly - it is all about the children! Highchairs are available, there is a change table in the bathroom, pram access to easy and there is a separate kids menu. The cafe is available for children's parties. The staff is extremely friendly, and makes us feel welcome at every visit. The owners have backgrounds in early childhood development and clearly enjoy interaction with the kids. Cubbyhouse Canteen is located within the Union St Park in Armadale, so when the weather is fine visitors can enjoy a coffee out in the sunshine. I highly recommend the hot chocolate – your choice of dark, milk, or white (or a mixture) chocolate buds.
I have been attending Surrey Hills Medical Centre for my medical needs for the past 15 years. The centre is open every day of the year and has extended opening hours. There are more than 10 GPs to choose from, both male and female. There are also a number of allied health practitioners, including a podiatrist, psychologist and dietician. Although I no longer live in Surrey Hills, I still travel to the centre (from Armadale) to see Dr Caroline Johnson - she is extremely thorough, easy to talk to and up to date with the latest medical knowledge. I highly recommend the services of Surry Hills Medical Centre.
