Nice drive, just out of town. Large dining room, with plenty on menu. Seniors specials are good value. Would be a good idea to book a table if a few of you, as it gets pretty busy on a Sunday. Couple of small rooms on the side, and also outdoor dining out the front, where they have a band every now and then on a Sunday arvo. Pokies also there.

Meals at this place are still great, good sized at a reasonable price. Fresh and hot and quick. Only letdown are the girls at the cash register when you try to place your order, I dont know whether they cant or dont understand a lot of English but seem to be too busy on there phone or just avoiding you.Cash only here.

From the moment we entered this restaurant , things werent good. Four people seated in restaurant already, and we went up to counter to find out about a table , waited , waited, and waited some more, girl entered and went out back to kitchen, didnt acknowledge us and we waited some more, close to 10 minutes before a man came out and served us. We asked for table for 2, and it seemed a effort to fit us in, (we thought they may have been booked out, but no sign of reservations). When we ordered main course , he said "no entrees " rather rudely. We ordered Atlantic Salmon and the Asian stew which were very tasty and nice and hot, a little pricey I think. And then had sweets. The surprise was to come when we went to pay, he would not except our gift voucher (which is actually cash) and the voucher out of the entertainment booklet together as he said he wouldnt make enough money out of us. as we hadn't spent enough. So he's happy to sell you gift vouchers ( and get your money) but when you come to use it , its a different thing. When I went back to challenge him , he said come back and use my entertainment voucher another day. So I spend more money there. Not likely with that attitude. And after all this no more people had come into fill his tables. I wonder why. Rude, Rude, Rude.

Great variety of meat here whether it be chicken , beef , pork or lamb. Able to get small or large amounts at a good price, and then they have extra specials. Can be purchused already packaged, or ask the butcher for just the amount you require. Able to also get frozen vegies, eggs and bread and spices.

Even though there are so many coffee and cake shops in Beechworth, this one is still one of the best. Some days the service may be a little slow, but just take a seat and enjoy the scenery or read the paper. So many different types of cakes, slices , pies and pasties, all tasty and fresh. Sit inside or upstairs on the balcony.

Great place for families for a meal, right in Bright overlooking the river. Light menu and the pizzas are great. Demo and tours of the Brewery. You can purchuse a tasting tray to sample their craft beer, or just have a coffee. Live music on a Sunday.

Lots of Knick Knacks, connected with farms. Some antique, some just old. Good selection of clothes, some a little different from the norm. Hand creams , nice smelling soaps and Jewellery available. A real mixture of stock in this store.

You are able to taste all the different types of honey, and see what products its turned into. Hear the story behind the Beechworth honey, and see the bees working up close and coming in from the outside. Interesting for the kids. Plenty of Gift type products.
