Bob Jane in Eltham have looked after our car tyres for many years. They fit new tyres & follow up with discount deals on regular tyre service, wheel balance & alignment. It is easy to book an appointment & work is always completed at the time promised. They have a comfy waiting room with tea/coffee, magazines & TV - should you want to save walking home & back, or can't get a lift home from someone.
All this is great but still, I always feel unwelcome here because of the, what I perceive to be, unfriendly manner of the old bloke who is the manager there! Can't crack a smile out of him & his tone is very matter of fact & to the point - to the extent that I feel I shouldn't be there wasting his time! He is by no means rude but just appears very unfriendly! Pity! I'd give this place an extra star for overall value if only he made an effort to show he values us taking our business there!
Perhaps I'm judging him unfairly & he has his own problems! Who knows? But a friendly face at reception goes a long way in adding value to a business!!

I can't praise Ship 2 Anywhere highly enough! All quotes & payment can be organised online. They have a door to door pick-up & delivery service, at competitive rates and at mutually suitable times. They use reputable courier services.
My parcel was delivered from Melbourne to Copenhagen in 6 days.

We've been going to this place for many years now. We often go with our Entertainment Book vouchers & get great value - but are happy to go without vouchers too as their meals are very generous! Big variety & good ambience!

Huge variety of nuts, dried fruit & european/middle eastern sweets. Great quality & value. The nuts are sold in many forms - raw, roasted, salted & spiced. There are sweet & savoury flavoured nuts. The sweets inclde baklava, almond crisp bread, shortbread, turkish delight & nougat of many varieties. Nuts displayed in well lit cabinet with names & prices very well displayed. Platters & jars as gift packs available at Christmas & Easter. There are samples of the many products so you can taste before you buy - but they ask you to please use the tongs to pick up, rather than your fingers!

Had dinner here on a Tuesday night, 7.30pm. Lovely surroundings full of gum trees. Decor inside very nice too, with glass windows looking out to garden areas. The food cost was great due to the fact that we can now use the Entertainment Book Gold card here to get a 'buy one main meal & get another free'!! So paid $29 for 2 main meals of steak & lamb rump. Delicious!

A group of 6 had dinner here one Friday night. Meals, although not cheap, were artistically presented, generous & delicious. They accept the Entertainment Book vouchers here so we got 25% of our meals. (Used 2 vouchers - one between 3 people - and got a $20 discount per voucher) The surroundings & the seating are very pleasant & spacious.

I'm reviewing this place for their party catering service. Huge variety to choose from & great prices. Ordering was easily done online & with a follow up phone call from me to confirm details. Dishes delivered hot & on time as promised. Delicious food. Am going to use this service soon for a second time.

I've also eaten at their excellent Sunday Brunch - vegetarian meal. It is authentic regional food from the Western Indian state of Gujarat. Highly recommended! We once hired the whole restaurant on a Sunday for a family celebration and were looked after very well!

A group of 5 of us had lunch here recently. Delicious aromatic food and great value for money. You order and pay at the counter and they bring the dishes to your table. Interesting variety of Sri Lankan dishes, including vegetarian options. Only complaint was some of the 'thali' plates had lukewarm to cold food that should have been served hot, except for the 'lampries' rice dish that I ordered, which came out in a hot, steaming, banana leaf & greaseproof wrapped parcel & was delicious!! Would go again to try some of the other tempting dishes on offer.

I used this business to supply frozen finger foods, fresh platters, decorations (helium balloons), serviettes etc. for my daughter's 21st party, at home.
Parking is easy, there is a huge variety to choose from, the staff are helpful & friendly and it really is a one stop party supplier. They delivered everything for a fee and the best part was they offer to hire out staff for the night to heat up and serve the food then clean up. The lady who came to our place was so great! She had great ideas for food presentation and was so friendly and helpful. It was the first time I had (hesitantly) hired someone to help in my home and would now readily do it again. It was the best idea and meant I could enjoy the party too.
The place is really good value with options to suit your budget.
