Excellent food and service.
We were running late for our booking due to traffic-and we rang ahead to let them know.
We were kindly told our reservation would be held for us-and not to stress about it!
We attended a lunch-5 of us-and our wait staff when asked provided wonderful advice on meal selection and saved us money by ordering a bottle of French champagne rather than a glass each.
Very generous advice, to our advantage not theirs!!
Food was exceptional, 5 star quality and generous sizes. Gorgeous building, inside and out.
Our waiter was attentive but not intrusive, the whole experience just delightful!
On a personal note-it was a very cold day, and I removed my coat once seated.
However after an hour or so the restaurant didn't feel warm, and I felt compelled to put my coat back on.
No one else at my table felt cold tho!
Highly recommend Epocha-will be returning as often as we can, especially with some international visitors due at the end of the year.

Lilydale service centre has given us exceptional value, quality professional workmanship and expert advice and repair to our car.
We were accurately quoted for all needed repairs and we gratefully had our poor car back on the road in excellent condition within 24 hours.
Mechanics acknowledged they were busy but didn't want to miss any problems with our car-so asked for extra time to be certain of diagnosis and correct outcome.
We were more than willing to do so and we were offered a registered roadworthy loan car and/or a lift to home or transportation if needed.
Courteous, honest, fully competent and professional.
Reception staff were fantastic friendly and professional, and our quotes and bill was completely itemised for honesty and transparency.
We will continue taking our cars (we have 3..) here and confidently recommend them to others.

Booked large table for 30. Sunday night so very quiet. 6pm and we all there on time. Took ages for any food to come out. Our waiter spill every jug of drink he put on the table. Over all our personal belongings!
So annoyed bout that...
Food was nice
NO baby change table in disabled toilet so changes two nappies on restaurant floor. NOT acceptable!
Toilets were absolutely filthy. No toilet paper in some no soap. Disgusting.
Waited ages for desserts we had to constantly ask where the next course was. After waiting over 20mins for coffee we gave up and left-with NO coffee. As its part of the banquet price and my highlight of the night(I love Turkish coffee-was looking forward to it..)we were lft shaking our heads in disbelief. our family has been eating there for over 10yrs-back at the original zaras-but this night did us in. We vowed never to return. So there goes 30 loyal customers.
Really sad to go but it's the worst experience to be treated like that by our fave much loved family restaurant.

Very hot inside.
Food ok. Steaks overcooked-live bug in my salad.(why me??)
Kids spaghetti was disgusting. Some 'frozen 2 yrs ago' microwaved to scalding flavourless watery sauce. Kids wouldn't eat it!!
Playground wasn't useable. Filthy, broken parts everywhere cobwebs everywhere. Tables chairs and floors were sticky

Whole place is run down. Not returning. Ever.

Mid morning snack for kids whilst shopping nearby. After 10.30am.
Very quiet in store very young staff
Not one clean table in the whole place. Dirty cups mugs n plates on inside and outside tables. Floor was oily and slippery underfoot. Dead flies on chairs tables and window sills. Food was lukewarm. I politely mentioned table was dirty-staff argued between themselves over who would have to go clean them.
Toilets were surprisingly cleaner than restaurant!!
Overall the filthy place left our skin crawling and we didn't finish our food-just got the hell out.
I know it's crappy maccas but I've never been in one that dirty.
Gross guys-lift your game!!
Next door red rooster was spotless-inside and out.

Finest lamb gyros EVER. Pita is sooo good, soft warm and moist. Chips great potato cakes great fish great-not too oily or greasy. We drive for 15mins and past 6 other fish n chip places to eat at grey sharks. We don't eat fish n chips often but when we do-it's gotta be good!!!
With quality food we'll keep going back.

Have been here 4 times over 7 yrs and it has only gotten better and better.
This is my most recent experience. 5th of jan this yr.
Although we had a reservation we were asked to wait in lounge. Once all our group arrived it took bout 20mins to be seated. Annoying considering we had booked for our group of 11. We all arrived on time but had to ask twice why we were left waiting. Cafe was not even a third full-however we were finally seated. We were served promptly after that. Disappointed a request for a child's meal to be brought out with entrees was ignored. Luckily it was an older child that could quietly wait as we had been kept waiting ages already!! Food was the highlight. Exquisite !
I had duck terrine and duck confit starter followed with beetroot and goats curd salad for my main. Blissful!! Duck dish was heaven...melt in yr mouth rich full flavours and dry satisfying.
The salad was fresh light and perfectly balanced. Tart lemony curd with sweet beetroot and crunchy leaves. Washed down with gorgeous sauvignon blanc.
Coffee and little caramel served alongside were lovely-but the fruity biscotti were gross!! Bland and flavourless.
In summary it was a great lunch. The staff were young, possibly new as I'd venture to assume reg staff may have been on holidays.
I'd like to whinge that although the chip I pinched off a friends plate was yummy-$9 a (small) bowl is a ridiculous amount to charge for deep fried plain ole potato and you know it!! For shame!!!
In summary good overall effort and the fantastic local fresh food won us all over.
Ps. Dead flys on the window sill and on our table was a little disconcerting...

I didn't enter this shop (prob just as well) however the mixed platter of cakes cannolli and pastries were amazing in every way!! Delicate sweet full of flavour.
We actually ended up fighting over the last few cakes left as no one wanted to miss out on the next taste sensation!! I'm told service was fast friendly and professional.
I hope this business lasts forever..as I'm hooked on the the gateu and need more!!
Italian families will love the traditional cakes and the fact they now don't have to travel so far for special occasion cakes.
I love it that the custards are bursting with flavor and don't taste like metal as some do.

Anyone reading this review must try the veal saltimbocca at pino's. It's to DIE for!!! Melt in your mouth succulent heaven sent veal with crispy sage leaves cheese and procuitto. White wine sauce so good you want to lick the plate...staff good...pizzas good...chanti is superb. Oh and pastas good too.
Then have the panna cotta for dessert. Again...divine!!! Can't wait to goback. Makes me love Phillip island that much more! Thanks pino's!!

Again another restaurant we frequented for several years but diminishing quality sent us elsewhere.
Last few times we ate there pizza toppings were so thick that the middle was raw-but edges burnt. Couldn't eat it.
Veggies served with chicken fillets werent cooked-couldn't eat those. Pasta was ok but when asked howfoid was at checkout and an honest review given...nothing.
No apology no discount or refund.
So we took our large family gatherings elsewhere!!
It's been a while since we left so hopefully things have improved.
