In a new house with Gliderol door which stuck open. Rang Gliderol but office closed until 4th January. Message on their machine gave an after hours number to contact. rang the technician who told us in no uncertain terms that he had told Gliderol he was unavailable to do any after hours emergency because he was on holiday for a reason. Couldn't or wouldn't give us any other numbers to call-appalling service. Options as I see it:
1. Company ignored his holiday request and rostered him regardless-FAIL
2. Technician decided despite being rostered he wasn't working over Xmas period-FAIL
3. Company and technician could not care less and think this level of customer service is acceptable-FAIL
Next they will be bleating that it is unfair that so many Australian Manufacturing Businesses fail and want government support.
