I love Haigh's chocolates. Their chocolate is smooth and yummy - especially their truffles which you can buy seperately or in boxes. You can even make up your own selection in a box. I buy these every Easter for all the family. They are certainly not cheap but are well worth paying more as the quality is there. I usually get the chocolate bilby's for the kids at Easter time too.
Very helpful staff with a fantastic range of craft goods. I mainly buy card making stuff there for my mother in law and I can always find heaps of different stuff. They have all sorts of different art supplies as well. They also have supplies to make Christmas decorations from. Their prices are reasonable and they have good specials.
This butcher shop has fantastic meat. They have a great variety of different things to try. Their marinated roasts are sensational and the quality of everything is really good. Their prices aren't super cheap but you are paying for quality. The service is very good and friendly as well.
I go here often to buy my fruit and vegetables. They have a new owner who is very friendly and always says hello when he see's you and he has definitely improved the quality of the fruit and vegetables. They also sell a large assortment of fresh herbs and their prices are reasonable.
The meals here are sensational, especially the Pad Thai. The atmosphere is very relaxed and not noisy. The service was good and the price not too bad. I would certainly go back there.
We went to this pub recently and were so impressed with the food. I ordered a pork chop with a sauce. It was magnificent. There were two pork chops, really delicious vegetables and the most divine sauce. Everyone who was with us was equally as happy with their food. My husband ordered lamb's fry. I totally dislike lambs fry but still have a taste whenever he get's it. I couldn't believe how nice it was. I would have actually considered ordering it myself. Great service and a friendly atmosphere as well.
I have been here a couple of times, once for cocktails which were nice and a really great atmosphere and once for lunch which was OK. The service was quite slow but it is a lovely place to sit outside with a glass of wine.
We went to this place for breakfast after it was recommended to us by a friend. We sat outside which was pleasant and interesting watching all the going's on. You had to line up for quite a while to order food which was frustrating as I was sitting outside by myself for quite a while my husband ordered. The food took a while to come out and we were both dissapointed. I ordered eggs benedict and rather than a muffin it came on a dry bread roll which I couldn't eat as it wasn't nice at all. My husband wasn't impressed with his food either. It wasn't bad but wasn't worth going there for.
I am a regular here. My husband loves these cookies and they are so fresh that often they are still warm when you buy them. They have lot's of flavours to choose from and are reasonably priced. My mother in law lives in Melbourne and her local cookie man has closed down so I buy them and post them to her. My favourite is the one with the lollie in the middle. They also have gift wrapped boxes of cookies which I often get and the service is sensational.
Awesome pizza's with interesting toppings available too. They also do a great Greek salad. Their service is fantastic as well. The meatlovers pizza is probably my favourite and their garlic bread is really good too.
