I go to Townsville for work and we stumbled across this little Indian restaurant. It's not in the flashy part of Palmer st - more towards the backpackers but that makes it alot quieter (OK I know backpackers generally aren't quiet but neither are rich tourists!!) The banquet is huge and we had to take heaps of it home. Great tastes so we go back everytime we visit now.

I had high tea here which was lovely. My in laws regularly get cakes for special occasions from here as well. You wouldn't think such a lovely cafe would be out in the suburbs but that makes for easy parking!!

My sister in law had a high tea baby show here. Great location as you can get a park close to the Villas. Lovely food & staff. Really quirky room with plenty if memorabilia.

We got very excited as Adam came on time which should be expected but unfortunately hasn't been our experience with other plumbers. Punctual and happy to do a quick job for a family member down the road so very accommodating. Got the job done quickly.

This is my brothers favourite Thai restaurants and we've been a few times with him. It's a small restaurant but that gives it a personal feel. Delicious food with lovely, polite service. You can get take away as well.

Definitely a restaurant for a treat. A great fine dining experience. The waiter we had was great - really came across as enjoying his job but still professional. We had zucchini flowers which were delicious. On the expensive side but the quality is worth it.

We had a window installed in our laundry. He was punctual (which is rare for tradies I'm afraid). There were some delays in getting back to us to arrange a time to come but overall good work & a good experience.

I visit Townsville for work and we regularly go to the Cbar for breakfast. I can never decide what to have as their breakfasts all look divine. They're right on the water front so it's a lovely view. My favourite dish is corn cakes with crispy bacon, rocket, sour cream, parmesan, avocado and balsamic reduction. It's a restaurant to go to for a treat.

This is a lovely Thai restaurant close to the Chermside shops but away from the hustle and bustle of Chermside itself. We had a delicious sizzling duck meal and the pork stir fry was lovely as well. Clean restaurant, friendly staff. We've only tried it once but will definitely go back.
