Peter and his team are friendly and very professional.

The shop is elegant and being away from the larger less friendly shopping centre across the road allows you a peacefull and stressless experience.

Gladstone Vision has the best range of quality frames that I have found in Gladstone and you are always guaranteed that the after sales service is second to none.

My first port of call every morning on my way to work. They make a great coffee and don't get huffy if you want it a special way (extra strong, extra, extra hot and minimal froth).

By 9 most days and especially weekends, you can't get a seat which just goes to show how popular they have become.

One of their barita's (Sara) has just won the 2012 Foodco Barista competition which is fantastic for both her and the team.

All in all, a joy going there daily and being greeted by such lovely people.

The staff at lilac's are always friendly. The food is great and best of all they even know how to make a half decent coffee.

My only gripe has to be that they close too early daily and after finally starting to trade on a Sunday, they have suddenly stopped.

There are little enough places in the Gladstone region to go for a relaxing Sunday brunch and we have now lost the best of them.

This site has only recently re-opened. It improves all the time and I have to say that the coffee is fast coming up to scratch. The food is very good, and not too badly priced

Wow...talk about pushy. Went into this store looking for a top loading washing machine. The "friendly" store person proceeded to tell us that we should only be looking at front loaders. The only machines she was interested in showing us were in excess of $1,500. Tried several times to tell her not interested in front loaders but she would not have any of it.

We went else where to discover that the machines we did see were over priced to what was on offer at the other local stores.

The store stunk of mould as well so in all we could not get out of there quick enough.

Beautiful. Have stayed there twice now and both times we have been impressed. We had a suite which consisted of two rooms (one king and one queen) and also a sofa bed as well.

The staff at Gladstone Optical are friendly and not afraid to be honest with your selection in frames. They offer a 2 for 1 deal which is really great. Of course there are conditions that apply but nothing new there. If you are on a tight budget they can also

Wow, I cant even begin to describe this place. Cast you mind back to when a pizza came heaped with fillings and there was actually cheese melted over the top of it. This is what we found at The Galleon. When our take away pizza was bought outside to where we were waiting to be called we were handed a box far heavier that we expected. Imagine out delight when we got it home to find a massive mound of fresh tasty fillings.

We stopped into this little shop to look at old books but never quite got to the book section. Whilst this shop is essentially like all other second hand furniture shops it does carry some very good quality items.

I had been searching for a filing cabinet for my home office for some time and here I finally found one in excellent condition.

The owners were very friendly and the prices were very reasonable, even if there was no room for bargaining

This place is worth a visit even if you do not drink. It is the most stunning room which was built in 1893. It has massive fireplaces inlaid with marble, elaborate plaster ceilings and superb paintings. The most spectacular bar in Sydney and possible Australia.
