It was a fun tourist attraction, and I really enjoyed the interactive sections of the museum. The lady at the counter was very nice and friendly. However, there were numerous rooms on torture and shrunken heads, which were a bit scary for little kids. Its good that you could take photos to share the expeirence.
I usually go here a few times each year. The service is always average but the food is so delicious.
As I was moving out of Darwin, I decided my friends and I should go out for dinner at a nice resturant, so we chose Hoggies. We ordered an entree of garlic bread that did not arrive until the end of our main meal, despite us asking countless employees. When our main meals were served, we had been waiting over an hour!!! With the meals I asked for some tomato sauce, and that again, did not arrive until the end of the meal.
Despite this negative expierence, the staff were friendly and catered for our desert needs when we couldnt have strawberry icecream and they replaced it with chocolate instead.
I joined a couple of weeks ago whilst travelling, as a referral from freestuff.com.au! The website looks safe, inviting, and easy to use so I gave it a go. I ordered my $20 gift card, and I am waiting for it in the mail. I needed to ask site operators a question, and they responded to me through email within a day! Very well done business system, keep up the good work!
Woolworths is always a great place to shop, with amazing deals and sales espicially with the Everyday Rewards program and the fuel offers. As with most food stores, they could improve on the freshness of their fruit and veggies. The customer service could be improved with a smile or two.
Boos smoothies make me happy! I went there today and got my mango magic for dinner! The customer service was pretty bland though - I had no smiles!
Approximate cost: $upgrade for 50 cents
Great and well furnished modern rooms, gives an old english country-club feel. It was only steps from the beach, with a gym, pool, resturant (with buffet breakfast), crochet, and lawn bowls which we played a game of (with all the oldies cheering me on).
Yum! Nice fish and chips (and Chiko Roll!) The service was exceptionally friendly. The shop was across from my hotel, which was excellent as well.
We arrived during the day, to find no one inside the main reception! So I rang up the owner, and she said that the room keys were inside the safe outside. The underground parking was quite confusing, but we got there in the end. The room views wer spectacular, of Surfers Paradise and the city and beach! But something funny happened to me... The bathroom door was a bit dodgy and late at night I got locked in the bathroom! I had to bang on the door to wake up my friends - I was stuck there for half an hour! Besides this 'incident' it was an enjoyable stay!
WOW WOW WOW!!!!!!!!1 Excellent everything! The cinema room, gym, pool, tennis courts, lounge room, carparking, and rooms were all spectacular!!!!!! Located in the heart of the city with friendly service and modern rooms with a complimentary upgrade. Cheap parking as well. The only thing that needs to be improved is the selection of DVDs!!!
My family and I went here for a takeaway box for lunch on the go. We got given a big plastic sectioned container to fill up and take home, with a cup we could fill up with drink. I filled up my container with as much food as possible, and I had enough for two meals! It would be nice though if there was a chilled container for salads or icecream etc.
