Well, where does one start? Is everyone in Melton blind to the fact that the prices here are a bit high??? The only fish competitively priced here are their feeder goldfish!
I was told about this new store last week and went in to check it out. I was actually in need of feeder fish for my Murray Cod but due to no service or acknowledgement during the whole 10 minutes (Yes - 10 minutes in their store!) I ended up walking out empty handed and quite disappointed.

Another thing I noticed in this store is the range of fish on offer is very limited.
I understand they are new to business here, but the standard tropical range on offer is really not the best for the an aquarist who is looking to expand their collection.

Their cichlid range is better, however very over priced.
I am also puzzled as to why they have on display one very malnourished fish above their cichlids????

Hopefully they can read this and take it on board. As I am an enthusiastic aquarist myself with a garage and house full of tanks, I will return in a couple of months to see if the service, range and pricing has improved.

Great quality products, reasonable range of fish, however the staff are not so knowledgable on their fish as they think. I gave a simple question asking whether or not BRISTLENOSE CATFISH and GUPPY fish can live in an unheated tank and was told by the young girl they would die if I took them home and put them in an unheated tank and proceeded to attempt selling me a water heater. 10 points for effort love, but you really need to learn the history of the fish you sell. You can catch guppy fish in the creek in Melton soooo - yeah....go figure!
A better range of fish would be nice however I have found the puppy school service and dog grooming services to be the best value at this store. Well done here.

Love Love Love the coffee here. As my partner is lactose-intolerant he can also enjoy a soy based coffee here too. Service is often slow due to being so popular so make sure you have 10minutes spare to wait, but their coffee is really worth the wait.
The cakes here could be improved however and they could benefit from a larger store, otherwise friendly but very busy staff.

Always happy with the service here. The older lady here is not afraid to kick a rowdy person out when causing trouble or being intimidating...(wow).
Always have a fantastic range of movies and in the 2 years I have been using this store I have only been told once that they have not had a movie in stock, which is a fantastic effort! They have a good stock of late night snacks if you can't visit a nearby supermarket and sell the ex-rental stock at ok prices. They used to sell brand new copies of blu-ray discs at $15 - it would be great if this were to be done again...
Another fantastic thing about this particular store is the opportunity to have your late fees reduced by 50% if you pay them at the time of returning or pay a few $ off here and there as you keep hiring.
Well done to this store.

I must say this shop has the potential to be sooo much better. Customers are not put first, dead fish floating in the tanks, and the birds and the few animals they do have are overpriced. This is one store that needs to re-design and improve in all aspects as soon as possible or they will go down the drain faster than the new stores coming to Melton.
The best thing about this store on my last visit here - Feb 2013 (out of curiosity to see if it had improved from 6 months ago) was the deal on the black gold-fish...cheap enough to go back to stock my pond in spite of the condition of the shop and the not so good service.

I go here for my meat when I can't get to or I haven't got the time to go to Footscray/Sunshine and need something NOW.
The service is quite good considering they work in a refridgerator!! Meat pricing is pretty average but the chicken pieces in the 5kg bags prove to be the best value in this store until they have their super deals! Beef prices are quite overpriced especially with the rib-eye....I can get this elsewhere at half the price per kg. Yes it can be purchased for $13p/kg!
Certainly better value than Safeway/Coles.

I have been a customer at this video store for 3+ years and the service here is fantastic. If I can't find what I am looking for, they do! They also sell an amazing range of dragon figurines.
Join up fee is $5, but well worth it :)
Returns can be left at the bottle shop next door when they aren't open aswell.

I love my XBOX 360 and I now love this store. The sales assistants here are very busy however they know their stuff and are always enthusiastic about their job!!
I most recently used this store to pre-order a game that is to released in November 2012. I couldn't be happier with the service as although people were trying to push in, the young lady working on this day was actuall observing the order people had arrived at the counter...I was served quickly and left with my pre-order docket and poster within 10 minutes of arriving armed with the knowledge that my pre-order could be paid of like a normal lay-by or paid in full on pick up.
I highly regard this store, as all my transactions here have been very positive and even when I have purchased 2nd hand games, I have been offered a $1 insurance on the disc even if it wer my kids who scratched the discs. Well done EB Games....keep up the good work!!!

A few months ago the CV joints in my car started clicking and I had considered doing them myself and started researching prices for the driveshafts. I received a quote online for $220 each side, which was a lot better than the $300 each side and $75 p/h labour quoted by a normal mechanic. My fiance checked over the quotes I had obtained then told me about M & S Driveshafts on McIntyre Rd. He rang them for a quote and they said $220 each side fitted!
When I arrived there, Mark asked me to bring the car inside his workshop, he asked if I was waiting and offered the couch where you can observe the work from a small distance.
Apparently this business has been there for around 20 years! I was impressed with how fast my car was worked on...it was a case of all hands on deck and my car was completed and test driven within 40mins.
The staff are friendly and welcoming and they work fast. This place is definately somewhere everyone should consider...

Must say, we love the doorman (Albert?). Always cheerful, polite, friendly and my kids LOVE him :)
Night staff are really nice too, they don't follow you around like the Campbellfield Kmart, just because the store is quiet.
Definately one of the best Kmart stores I have visited and although their reduced prices on clothing aren't as low as Airport West, their servive makes up for it.
