Great location and well maintained grounds. The pool, mini-golf, playground, jumping pillow and indoor kids room are all fantastic. The only thing they were missing as a kiosk to buy bread/milk/coffee etc.

This review is for Amici's Italian Restaurant, South Brisbane QLD

Situated near the pool at Southbank, this restaurant has a lovely outdoor dining area surrounded by lush vegetation. Which is also the home to some very large lace monitor lizards (i think that's what kind they are) that often come out and walk around the tables looking for food!!! At which time legs go up on chairs and the odd unsuspecting dinner lets out a scream! The staff come over and guide the lizards back towards the bushes....basically you get dinner and a show! We've been 3 time and the food has been good, we've tried pizza (Amici's special with chili), Pasta (cabonara) and the Lasagna and enjoyed it all. The coffee is good too. Prices are standard, they are in the entertainment book if you have one and you'll get 25% off.

Approximate cost: $15-20

My husband and I had dinner here and found it to be good value, they were doing a special $19.95 for 3 courses, we had a clam chowder for entree, I had chicken for main and my husband had fish, then dessert. The restaurant is situated upstairs, so if you had anyone with a disability in your party be sure to cal ahead and make sure there is a lift ( i did not see one)

This review is for Mary Ryan's Books, Music & Coffee, Byron Bay NSW

Cafe combined with a bookstore, it's a great place to sit and sip coffee and read a book without staff giving you looks to move on! The coffee is excellent. The location is in the heart of Byron so if you don't have a book then there is still plenty of people watching to do!

Approximate cost: $30-$4 for coffee

Small little bakery selling a good range of oriental baked goods they have buns with sweet and savoury fillings. They also do doughnuts, etc. I had a kind of like chicken curry bun and then a custard one - yum! Located right next to the Growers Market Fruit Store.

Sometimes you can pick up a great deal (like a tray of mangoes for $10) other times the prices are comparable to leading supermarkets. The quality is usually good. They are right next door to a chinese bakery that's delicious too!

I got a spray tan for a friends wedding -. I'd never had one before so didn't really know what to expect but I was happy with the colour and result. The price was reasonable too, I think it was about $30-$40 for the one off application. I'd use them again if I had the need for a quick tan in the future.

Approximate cost: $30-$40
