China Style (formally China Bar) serves up cheap, tasty Chinese dishes. Eat-in or take-away, it gets busy at lunch-times when Uni students pack the place, but there are quite a few tables inside and outside. The food is pretty good for cheap Chinese take-away and the menu includes bbq meats, lots of dishes on rice, as well as noodle soups. At $7 or so for a large meal you can't really be disappointed.

The food here is very good quality, and the cooking is great. Chips are excellent, and the chicken is proper charcoal chicken (good quality la ionica, although I'm vegetarian my partner loves it). They cost a little more than the other BBQ chicken shops on Sydney Road and Waterfield Street, but Tasty Rooster is the best in the area.

Good pizza, lots of choices of toppings, good value. When they're very busy the pizzas tend to be a little undercooked, but otherwise delicious. They offer traditional and gourmet pizzas as well as burgers and salads, though we've only ever eaten pizzas so can't comment on the other items.

I've been getting my hair cut here for years, and get a fantastic cut each time. I agree that the pricing is inconsistent - I am charged differently depending on who cuts my hair. Try to avoid Saturdays as they are very busy and almost always keep you waiting well past your appointment time. Open late on Thursdays.

Great suburban pizza and really good prices. The shop itself is not particularly conducive to eating in, but they're quick with take-aways and open late.

This is a huge Bunnings Warehouse! There is ample parking right outside, and drive-through pick-up for large timber, etc. Also offer utes to hire which is a great service. Very helpful staff working on the floor.

We've had take-away from Garwah a few times now, and have been very happy with the food, and especially the service, each time. They are really quick to make up take-away orders and the food is fresh and tasty. Not many vegetarian options, but they're willing to alter a few dishes to make them veg-friendly.

The fruit and veg are about the same quality as you'd get in a supermarket, but a bit more expensive. Fine for what it is though. They have quite a good range of nuts, honey and other health food store type products too. Just make sure you count your change - I have been short-changed here on more than one occasion.

I haven't tried their organic outlet next door yet.
