I come here to celebrate birthdays with girlfriends since we can indulge in something quite exquisite. And ooh la-la, it certainly is. Delicious danishes, tasty tarts and palpable pastries are a draw-card! Agree with another review in that the prices are high but when you want to feel like a princess or prince, it's the place to go.

Dark Rye is a charming little cafe smack bang in the middle of a busy part of Doncaster Shoppingtown. I like it there since I can order organic drinks and food. Prices are very reasonable and you'll always get a lovely smile from one of the staff. If you can buy organic, why would you spend the same amount elsewhere?

Love this store! Yesterday I went in to get advice about a whiteboard. As soon as you walk in someone says hello. Then as I was looking through the store, a young lady by the name of Lauren greeted me and asked how she could help. I said that I was after an affordable whiteboard on stand that could hold flipchart paper. She said she'd look in the warehouse and she came out holding a package with exactly what I was after. I was even happier since it was discounted. The store was busy but she spent time helping me and I really appreciated it I did explain to her that I wouldn't be able to carry the items to my car so she arranged for Adon to help me. He was friendly and assisted me in the same courteous manner. Highly recommend this store. They understand customer service!

Please note that while this centre does provide numerous anti-ageing solutions, customers must comply to their policies which may or may not suit you. I like my privacy. Their privacy policy states that you MAY be asked to have your photos taken but when I went there, it was a prerequisite prior treatment - in-fact I was refused anti-wrinkle injections (which I rarely do, it was to be my second treatment ever after a year so I was looking forward to it). I did not sign a consent form to have photos taken either. I was humiliated as I was asked to leave the centre in-front of other clients. Also, be warned that your booking will not be taken without a deposit - which by the way you can't pay online. You need to go in person or give your credit card details verbally on the phone - Goodness - if you're just a little switched on, you'll know that this is a very risky thing to do. I really want to warn others out there. They also need to be very clear about their photograph policy before clients come in for treatment. If you don't mind about your privacy, then the treatments are decent but my privacy trumps treatment as does customer service and respect. This organisation is all about $$$$ and you'll feel like a number. Hopefully they'll change their policies to have higher regard towards customers' rights.
