DISGUSTING.

One of the most disgusting experiences I have ever had. My wife's car got recalled due to a faulty airbag and I went to the dealer immediately. We purchased our Honda Accord Euro from them and service it with them as well.

As a parent my family safety is priority but I was told that I was unable to have this fixed until the 21st of June. I understood that there might be a delay so I asked if they were able to provide a courtesy car because I don't want my wife driving my kids around with this fault and I was told it's not possible unless I hire one. It was a total of $3900 for that period which is unfair and I couldn't understand how a car yard with endless cars cannot help us out.

[Redacted name], who was the guy I was speaking to got frustrated with my questions because he told me that nothing has happened in Australia with this recall but when I asked him if he would put his daughter in the passenger seat he said no....

I then offered to pay the $3900 for a car but as a gesture of our ongoing commitment to Honda that amount would go to future service costs as a credit.

He then turns around and tells me that they are a business and it's not what they do.

This is not acceptable and I made it clear that I am in business also but peoples safety and customer service and loyalty supersede all things business and I also told him in no uncertain terms that it was disgusting to hear and that he is an embarrassment to even mention business ahead of family safety.

I will be contacting consumer affairs along with Honda head office to also speak about this and everyone in my database with 10,000 people will know about the way [Redacted name] thinks.

Do not send any service reminder letters to my home from this point on as I will never bring our car to get serviced at Northway Honda. This will also be the first of endless reviews I write.
