not what i had in mind when we came here for a farewell breakfast on a sunday morning. the reputation of Little Creatures in Fremantale leaves this one in fitzroy with a lot of work to do. rushed, unattentive service, lacking on their tea/chai and coffee and boring, flavourless meals even with their gorgeous menu options. great space for families, kids and large groups, a beer or snack perhaps but not much more.

impressive service and flexible staff at the new Blonde Sugar nail and beauty salon in malvern with beautiful new and clean salon areas, pedicure spa chairs and a great array of fresh new products - unfortunately they did a rush job on my manicure and pedicure with bubbling in the lacquer, unrefined nail shaping techniques etc leave room for improvement.

have been to veg out a few times before and have never been disappointed. great eco conscious meals that cater for paleo, vegetarian, vegan and gluten intollerant. a large array of takeaway options or if you have more time order something from the kitchen and eat it on trendy fitzroy street. some mild flavours that my 2 year old loves, always leaving full and satisfied.

fresh food is abundant at the cafe nestled into a period home just behind greville street and near the prahran market. wonderful spot out the back in their large courtyard or inside on rainy days. have had breakfast here a few times and never disappointed by their prompt wait times and large portions

so highly recommended! Fitzrovia is tucked away in a gorgeous building front at the top of Fitzroy street in st kilda. i came here with friends that were visiting from interstate and not one of us had anything bad to say about the experience. quick fresh food made on site available from their window front or you can sit down and enjoy a lunch or dinner. great juice combinations, fantastic coffee and amazing food combinations just make for the best experience. time and time again my partner and i attempt to make it back here because it was just that good.

beautiful setting, really modern, sophisticated bar and dining within the Crown complex. only ever had cocktails and dessert here but equistite nonetheless. extensive wine and cocktail list, attention to detail and service and intimate atmosphere to celebrate any occassion.

Outstanding quality coffee selection with everything from cold drip, siphon to aeropress. the wait time here is disappointing with always a 20-40 minute wait and rushed out the door when youre finished your meal. the food is quality, sometimes rushed and underseasoned but an okay compromise if you want honest, quality food. not a place for vegans - too much in the way of bread and egg options but good nontheless. worth a look if youre in the richmond area!

too quiet for a place this good! a huge fresh selection of japanese and korean food, an establishment that prides themselves on using fresh organic produce where possible makes a huge difference to the taste and quality of their dishes and impressive environmental impact. amazing dinners, with everything recommended. a few vegetarian options with the convenience of also requesting vegan when needed with no egg. good beer and sake menu, wonderful spot on the river and huge space for functions or after work groups.

seemingly the place to be in the ripponlea/glen eira district - always buzzing and busy on weekends and full but not packed on weekdays. a really cool organic space with great selection of small meals, handmade cakes, organic drinks and a great array of current affair, architecture and wellbeing magazines to suit everyones eye. raw vegan brownies are the hit here. highly recommended by me (and every other local)

the BEST cocktails ive had in almost, well, ever. and whats better than their extensive cocktail menu? the 2 for 1 cocktail offers, the 50% off tapas and $10 pizza nights and afternoons they offer throughout the week. service is always top of the game too with a free drink, discount, no argument policy for the innocent mistakes theyve made in the past. fun staff, relaxing vibe and chilled out music and dj set on weekend afternoons. cannot go past this place. highly recommended
