Misdiagnosed my kitten for having an intestinal obstruction. Told me he needs ex lap surgery which would cost me $9,000 or he would die. The crying and anxiety my family and I went through that night was insane. We also get told that if we could not afford the surgery to come back and look at getting him euthanised. We went to another vet the next day to tell me he actually had Gastro. He was treated and in 2 days he was back to his normal self! Even if he did need surgery I was quoted $2,500 from the other Vet compared to $9,000 for the same surgery.
