Our much loved 9 year old Birman Cat was showing symptoms that all was not well with dilated pupils and laboured breathing. She was examined by Dr David Hughes. What I like is Dr Hughes prefers to work on facts rather than simply providing medication for symptoms. After a blood test for liver and diabetese and a chest x rays for laboured breathing, she was declared OK. He explained that the nose and eyes have a common nerve and a problem in one can affect the other and our cat probably had a simple cold that has now gone. Dr Hughes called us after hours with the results and came in specially to carry out the x ray. His diagnosis was excellent and the dedication and concern that he shows for his patients in exceptional. Thank you so much Dr Hughes for your exceptional standard of care and professionalism.
