This review is for The Montpellier Public House, Randwick NSW

I was a regular customer of old Balzac so I give it go to try this one, new one, a Montpellier Public House.
The food might be described at my first visit as comfort food, beautifully cooked, presented and served. Cheerful, helpful wait staffs are attentive but unobtrusive. This is a place where the food speaks for itself, with a bit of help from the friendly crew.

I and my girlfriend spent 70 AUD for dinner for two, which included sparkling wine, 5 small sharing plates, and one main and 4 different dessert. This is a very reasonable price and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. The roasted shoulder of lamb was a standout and I am looking forward in returning to sample many other dishes.

I was very happy to find that the same excellent bread and butter pudding provided at the old Balzac was also on the menu, so it make me to become a regular customer.

This review is for Lebanon And Beyond, Randwick NSW

I have been to this place a dozen or so times over the years and I never have any bad experience there. The short comes are location and establishment. The establishment isn't much on looks at busy Alison Road. The insides are pleasant enough, but it's not the place to go to be wowed by the scenery.

After these short comes, everything else about Lebanon and Beyond is really first rate. The service is always good, and the owners friendly. The waitstaff is generally impeccable.

The food is some of the best eastern Mediterranean I have eaten, great mezzes, chicken skewers that practically melt in your mouth, and sensational salads. I don't remeber I have tasted better tabouleh anywhere else.

Best of all, perhaps, is the price: this place is extremely reasonable. I have frankly paid a lot more for Lebanese cuisine not nearly as good.

I enjoyed eating at this friendly Vietnam restaurant. Only I didn't like the huge plasma screen continuously showing Vietnamese talent show reels. I can't complain about the food or serving staff. The service is delightful
The menu is offering huge range of Vietnamese and Thai dishes. My favorite are salt and pepper stir fried tofu, the diced beef and the steamed veggies. The price is affordable, we spent 60 dollars on 4 dishes.

This review is for Zen Japanese Restaurant & Sushi Bar, Randwick NSW

The good things about this sushi bar is they have good fresh seafood. But this the only one good thing I can say. The service was quiet slow there. They haven't been busy, but it took the time to notice us. After a while when I got my meal, I receive warm soup, it wasn't hot at all. The taste of the dishes was average, except the seafood sushi. I was suprised they didn't have a license for serving sake. I think this restaurant is somewhat overpriced. Overall it was okay but I will not return there again.

This review is for Choy's, Randwick NSW

Choys is a typical Chinese family business. I heard that they are in Randwick over 20 years. If they survived so long in the hospitality industry, they must know, what they are doing. It is a nice little suburban Chinese place.
I can't complain about the food, it is always delicious.Only the wine list could be bigger. Personally I would recommend to bring your own bottle. Big bonus are wet towels specially when you order crab. My favorite meals are rainbow beef and pork ribs. The staff are providing very good service. The price is reasonable. Overall this place is very good choice for dinning out.

Over the years we have had the rainbow beef, honey king prawns, lemon chicken and the pork ribs. Everything has always been good without setting the world on fire. Prices are reasonable and they are on the entertainment card thingy. Wel

I was very happy with my visit to Spatch Cock. All meals I ate were delicious there. My favorites are duck curry and cashew nut stir fry. It was very flavorful.
This restaurant has very welcoming setting. Unfortunately the tables are quiet close what made it a bit difficult to hear each other. The service is great there. The staff was very attentive and nice. The portion of the meals was reasonable and appropriate. I can recommend this Thai to anybody.

It is good refreshment at this cafe. The interiors feel roomy, and full of light. Good bonus is that they use bonsoy for all the bean milk drinkers out there. They have a coffee reward card, what is super generous and handy. They have a big menu of burger, my favorite one is the Mexican . Their sandwiches are not bad too. I think it is always worth to stop by on the way from beach.

Excellent food and the service was very smooth. But the noise, it isn't a place for date. Maybe I have been there in extremely busy day, but I didn't have big conversation with my friends during our dinner. I would appreciate more space between the tables, so I don't need to hear every conversation from table next. Other thing is luck of alcohol and wines on the menu, but their meals are tasty, I can't complain.

This review is for Wok Master, Randwick NSW

This place is a typical low budget take away shop. They minimize cost on everything. They have plastic chairs, tables and menus. Whole interior remains me on hall for gym or dancing. The good thing is a wide variety of very good, reasonably priced Asian dishes. Most are Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Indonesian thrown in for good measure. Service is fast, dishes are of good size, and the food is generally quite tasty. This place is not for dining, only for take away or traditional lunch break.

The meals at this Thai restaurant are enjoyable. The dishes are good value for money. Average dinner for 2 doesn't go over 50 dollars. I mean dinner not quick take away after work or quick lunch break. This is place to sit down and enjoy.
My favourite entre is the mixed entree (money bag, fish cake, spring roll, and curry puff). Favourite dish is pak tom with perfectly steamed veggies and tasty peanut sauce.
