I enjoyed going here with friends one afternoon but it rather trendy and as a result rather pricey for just a couple of drinks and snacks. It's got a good feel and like they advertise it has an extensive range of specialty beers.
Northbar is an ok nightclub in the city, it's usually super busy on the weekends and often there's a cover charge. Drinks aren't cheap but they're pretty standard for the city.
Gorgeous cocktail lounge located at the Dickson shops. There's both indoor and outdoor seating and there's a good vibe to this place. They've worked hard on the decor and it's a nice place to sit and relax with friends over drinks. There's an excellent cocktail menu but the bartenders are also happy to mix anything else up that you can think of.
Muddle bar is a trendy little cocktail bar but they are pretty pricey. It's a great place for when you want to go out for a few drinks but also want to be able to hold a conversation with your friends. Very comfortable and polite bar staff.
Approximate cost: $15
Unipub is a massive 5 level complex in the heart of the city. Really well priced thanks to them trying to get all of the cheap Uni students in. Decent pub grub food and the nightclub floor always has good DJs.
Excellent location with amazing views across the Bay. Simple food but done well. Staff were polite and service was within a reasonable time frame. I'd more go here again for the views rather than the food.
We went here and elected to sit indoors as it was quite windy outside, there's still a nice view across the water thanks to big windows. The service wasn't very fast but the seafood platter we ordered to share was tasty and fresh. The staff were quite accomodating to my toddler which was appreciated.
It's the usual Hog's Breath Cafe, kitsch decor, fast service and the regular menu. I always enjoy going here for the hickory smoked steak and curly fries. Convenient location right on the main drag of Bateman's Bay.
Calwell Club is an awesome place to go when you want a meal out but have kids in tow. The play areas are a big size and the weather isn't an issue as there's an indoor section as well. They do great chicken schnitzels and drinks are well priced.
I've gone to the Harmonie Club for their trivia nights with friends a couple of times and it's a comfortable family friendly place. It's nothing flash, just basic drinks and food reasonably priced.
