Bought 2 x 24,500ltrs via the Farm Fest, price was competitive and the 2 reps at the venue were approachable and informative. Although 2 other companies were priced similar, we thought we'd try RainAgain Tanks due good reviews in WOMO, good looking tanks (according to hubby) and price is ok. We asked for a further discount as we're buying 2 so we got $50 off per tank on top of the special price via the Farm Fest so the total was $4,500 for both. The delivery guy was ok, he rang us in the morning to give us a head's up where he's at. Here are the negatives:
1) you have to ask for a discount as it will not be offered (ask if they'll match or beat another company's price). The person we spoke to on the phone is different to the ones at the Farm Fest so she did not offer the discount until we asked for it;
2) the screws are not included for some of the parts (ie. strainer) which is really annoying, it cost us $8 to buy these at Bunnings, they did not tell us at the Farm Fest that these are not included so we felt a bit mislead;
3) there is a surcharge if you pay by credit card (it cost us $48 for using our credit card, probably more depending on your bank). Again a bit annoyed about this as we were not told until we have decided to purchase and were ready to pay;
4) if paying by credit, we had to pay a day or two prior to delivery;
5) they do not pre-install the ball valve outlet and strainers, etc. unlike other companies who will do this for you for nothing when asked nicely. We had 2 other tanks delivered from 2 different companies so we know;
6) we had to call to follow up on delivery time/day as we did not receive a call, it turned out they've mistyped our number in the system;
7) it's been over a week since we had the Rain Again tanks delivered, so far, no post sale follow-up checks, perhaps it's too early, perhaps they don't do it. It would be nice to get some post sale follow up so we can give some feedback.
Overall, I will not recommend this mob on price alone as the hidden costs we had to pay almost negates the discount we received. SHOP AROUND first so you can negotiate discounts, etc. Quality? we're yet to find out if these tanks will last the 20 years (or so) warranty they claim. Check what's included and not included but ask them to spell it out. We find that statements like “everything is included” is too generic! I will not recommend them for points 2, 3, 5. I've made the above feedback as specific as I can as tanks can be a big financial expense for people like us. Do I buy again at rain again? Maybe or maybe not.

We stayed here for 1 night in July 2013. This motel was reasonably priced compared to other competitors in the same street. We didn't let the hotel next door deter us as this motel was well-lit and secure; has off street parking; rooms are on the 1st floor, private and well-maintained. We were allocated an open plan family room which had a queen and a single bed. Besides the basic supplies that normally comes with motel rooms, we were pleasantly surprised with the many bonus features that came with this room: it was large and spacious; has a large cupboard; no shortage of powerpoints to charge your electronic gears; it has an iron and ironing board; a fan, airconditioner, a fan heater; it had a hairdryer, breakfast bar, massive mirror, large TV; well-placed lighting all around the room; phone; fresh milk on arrival; and even entrée vouchers for the local Sizzler. You can also pre-order breakfast for a small fee. But our main reason for choosing this motel was the hospitality – Rita at the reception was very approachable right from the start (our phone inquiry). When we met her in person, she made us feel welcomed and was very flexible with our special request. I highly recommend this motel for short stays, particularly if you need quick and easy access to central CBD facilities, eateries, and neighbouring attractions. Tips: book ahead to ensure availability; request rooms closer to the back to minimise traffic or hotel noises; bring slippers/socks for tiled rooms (ours was tiled). The motel had a slogan on its sign: “A nice place to stay”. We certainly agree.

Disappointing. Quality and taste are not consistent. We have our favourites so we order the same dish often but we seem to end up having a different tasting dish each time. Perhaps due to different cooks or variation in ingredients? Also, servings aren't generous. I prefer a bit more vegies or a bit more meat or a bit more sauce and not all noodles! If I ask a bit more of something, I get a weird look from the boss then told to pay extra. Once, we ordered a large takeaway but we only received half a container and it's mostly noodles! In fairness though, the Strathpine branch is more consistent in their dishes, have generous serves and have friendlier, happier staff. I just wish they'd consider the convenience of using eftpos rather than paying by cash.
