One of the best steaks in sydney. Its great when its not too crowded as the room seems to be amplify the noise. The service and servings have improved since the last review. If you sit near the kitchen, you get to hear the chef's antics too.

Hadn't heard of Tharens before but was invited to my friends 21st birthday and was greatly surprised. It ticked all the boxes from great food and wine, music and service and on top of it we had the great element of wearing different hats and wigs and being served by waiting staff in fancy dress. This place is amazing! Would come back for sure.

Been here a few times and love it! The owners mum makes the best melting moments, cherry chocolate slice and sultana slice. And the muffins are delicious too. The china bone teacups and plates remind me of my grandma, but at this cafe it works well with their overall ambience.

We have frequented the Conservation Hut several times on our visits to the Mountains. It is always an enjoyable experience and the food and views make the trip worthwhile. After reading some of the reviews below, it would seem some people are quite picky, after all this is a cafe, not a restaurant, and should be seen as such.

On our last visit, we went with our toddler and the waitress was overly attentive and went out of her way to make sure we ordered a "suitable" meal for her. My pancakes were to-die-for and my partner thoroughly enjoyed his sauteed mushrooms and eggs. I can highly recommend this place, if not for the views, go for the nice food.

Was very surprised to have such great quality Thai in Camden. Can get busy on weekend nights but food always comes quickly. I always test Thai according to the Panang and this one was delicious. Everything is wonderful, large servings every time. Endless supply of rice and quick service.

Friends who live close to Camden decided to take my partner and I to Enzo recently given their great experience recently. We all found this place to be great, great, great!

Who would have thought there was such a gem in Camden? We all had the bruschetta to start and shared the delicious seafood platter for two. Now at $97 this was Great value. Whole lobster, four balmain bugs, whole crab, baby squid, mussels, prawns....yum!

The meal and wine was thoroughly enjoyable and delicious made even more enjoyable by prompt service and polite staff. We will be back.

After much anticipation (five years) I finally had the opportunity to experience the restaurant. We loved the outdoor seating and the homey feel inside.

The food was delicious, my partner ate the lamb which included sweet potato, that tasted amazing. I was catered for as I am a vegetarian, the rissotto was delicious with the feta flavour melting throughout the rice. The bruschetta was also quite nice with the right portion of garlic.

Overall, the art that was placed around the restaurant was nice to look at and discuss. The BYO policy provides flexibilty. The service was great, our waitress 'Adriana' treating us like royalty. My only request would be to include more vegetarian options from the dinner menu. Congratulations on achieving such high quality and thank you for a great night. We will definitely go back!!

This review is for Babthai Thai Restaurant, Mount Annan NSW

Have dined at this Thai restaurant about 4 times & each time we have kept making excuses for the service as the food is not too bad for a local thai place, but we dined in again on last Sunday evening & will absolutely be the last time without a doubt. The service as previously mentioned in the other reviews is just non existent, the waitresses are very solemn & never smile & never speak to the patrons, they just dump the food & then bolt basically, I dont think they know what the word "SMILE" :) means!

There is no follow up for offering any more rice or drinks & never have had them ask if we would like any coffee or desserts. Well, supposedly they offer you free prawn chips to nibble on as you arrive, well in the four times we have dined there, only once have we received, even though on Sunday evening the table just beside us who came in after us were given them, may just be a trivial mention but it is a matter of principle I guess, just puts a bad taste in your mouth to start the evening off with.

They served us absolutely stone cold rice & had all hard brown clumps in it, so we told the waitress & she more or less gave us the cold shoulder & just took the plates & bolted, once again! We basically just wanted to get up & run at this stage, I mean we come in to enjoy a nice meal & that is what we were paying for so how hard is it to serve the customers hot & fresh cooked rice.

Well we stayed to eat the meal & when we went to pay, the waitress did not bother to ask us a word, she proceeded to add the bill & just said to us $44 dollars, without even showing us the bill. We then said can we see the bill please, she gave us a filthy look & gave to us & then we said you have overcharged us for two of the dishes, she grabbed the bill back & muttered alright I will change it then.

I really rate the food here over the past 2 years, the current chefs are great.

Most recent experience: Ordered directly from the chef, and he was very helpful about the cut of meat and the way I wanted my steak cooked. The resulting steak was perfectly cooked, had a lovely flavour, and the accompanying home-cut fries were delicious. He then came out after we finished eating to check that the steak was okay.

Prices are standard pub prices. As for the ambience, well, it's the Townie! You either love it or don't. It's in the upstairs part of the pub.
