Their lunch specials are great with all priced under $10 you can't go wrong. Lamb rogan josh and lamb vindaloo with rice would have to be my favourites, just the right amount of heat. Now and then I add a cheese and garlic naan to my meal if I am extra hungry, always satisfying.
This is a very popular spot at lunch time, most of my work colleagues and myself pick up some fresh pastries for lunch. Always piping hot and delicious, generous with the meat and gravy. Waiting time isn't too bad considering how busy it gets.
We decided this was the perfect restaurant for our recent birthday gathering as everyone loves a good steak or burger. Prices were a bit high but the steak was perfect, others enjoyed their burgers which were generous in size, service was a little slow but it was extremely busy. Didn't mind the wait so much, they kept apologising, the food was delish.
I recently met up with friends hoping for an enjoyable get together. Alas no, it was not to be. I will say the aroma coming from the kitchen was fabulous but it stopped there. Service was extremely slow which gave us time to notice just how much this place needed some attention in both updating and cleanliness, it was off putting to say the least. Our meals were nothing great, truly mislead by the delicious aroma. Meat was undercooked, yet my garlic naan was overcooked - crisp. Staff were so slow, it was so frustrating, we wished we had gone somewhere else.
I cannot visit the Central Market without purchasing some high quality, extremely tasty 'smelly' cheese. They have such a huge range at various prices, I like to purchase a couple of wedges when I know I will be having friends over. Very friendly informative staff.
I am not one that would normally order soup when eating out but a friend had it on my previous visit 2 weeks ago that I had to try it. It looked, smelt and tasted absolutely delicious. I finished my meal with a blueberry muffin and coffee. This cafe has a great vibe, such friendly staff, great prices and of course delicious.
Oh Like Yum. So much on offer, we purchased a baguette, a couple of rolls and then came across some huge cheese sticks, had to buy them as well, so glad we did, they were super tasty, a nice crunch, great for dipping or eating on its own. Also, we could not leave without purchase a few eclairs, they are perfect here. Very nice staff.
Before going to the movies my friends and I stopped in to try a lamb yiros, it was sensational, full of fresh ingredients, quality meat and perfectly wrapped so there was no mess. The staff were nice, a fabulous new addition to Mount Barker. We will be back.
This cafe has the lot, great place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fresh meals, delicious pizza and great coffee. The staff are always welcoming, prices are good, plenty of parking.
Forget the McDonalds Cheeseburger, this is the place to go. I had the double cheeseburger and it was awesome, you have a choice of four different cheeses, I chose cheddar and it was fabulous, so tasty. The burgers here are decent and the fries, perfect, all nicely presented on a yellow tray. Enjoy!
