Worst builders

I would not recomend to anyone to build with them. First build was not too bad but this one is a nightmare.
the tradies don't take pride in their work and the site supervisors are even worse.
when things go wrong no one wants to answer your calls nor emails. I am disgusted with all this, house was supposed to be ready December 2023 and now its February 2024 and still nothing is happening as though we've been ghosted. Homebuyers all you are good for is putting stress on families who have trusted you.

Homebuyer recommended to build with them definitely no!!!

Homebuyer recommended to build with them definitely NO!!!

My experience in the beginning was good Darren help with everything and assist me even weekend Amazing.

Problem was construction took longer than 19 months .Brodie every unprofessional playing with my time and every time come with excuse.

1. House is delate because some one breaking ( I ask for police report never received)
2. Floor company is delate ( when to check and box was there, but not installed until 3 weeks later or more)
3. I have a phone call from Brodie to rush me to be last payment with lies than all is done only miss few things and key handover will be other before 28th Dec lies!!

The bank when to value property and see the house was not ready and of course don’t approved last payment because is not complete.

Brodie call to stay that all will be done on the 28/12 and only thing will miss is the garage door

However, have a phone call again from Brodie saying air conditioning is not ready and the ***builders forgot to open a hold in the roof when they was building the house and air conditioning can not be installed ** OMG ………Brodie supposed to check construction state as a construction supervisor and double check all things is correct in the beginning of the building…..

Of course nothing will be done until the 2 weeks of Jan 2024 and could be more . Very unprofessional!!!

For other part. Emails information that I have received from Jessica is other information that Brodie disclosed over the phone.

Plus Jessica never answer email will reply after 2-3 days later or is on holidays.

Hey Maria,

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. I have spoken with our customer experience team leader who has stated that our construction manager was in contact with you prior to the holiday period in order to discuss your concerns and help resolve the situation.

i built with homebuyers a while back. i went straight to the main office and got a sales rep there. not from a display home. i had the plan of what house i wanted. the salesman was very unkept and really wasnt that interested. the structure of the house was good after it was built. but i did have some problems with supplying my own appliances. left them at the house - house was broken into and builder would not cover it. had to replace myself. a learning experience. but costly. times have changed and have since built another house by another company. overall house was good service not so.

They were only good before you signed the contract.
We were approached by a salesperson Sept 2010 and finally signed a contract with them for an investment property. Then everything gone down hill.
1. they made the wrong calculation on the initial contract re the extra we've to pay for the optionals. But they didn't let us know straight forward. Instead they changed the amount in the final contract without telling us and asked us to sign it. Luckily we checked it out rather than signing everything they posted us. We told them and that was a whole good month until the salesperson came to our house to "explain" the error, firstly he bramed the computer initiated document. But then we asked for compensation for their mistake. And he finally admitted that it was in fact his mistake and he asked for our forgiveness otherwise he would have to pay for that extra. And so we did.
2. there could be no contact from Homebuyer at all for a month even they promised to keep us up-date at least every week on a Friday.
3. if anything went wrong, it takes ages to fix
4. we are still waiting for council approval, and it is now nearly April. Half a year after we sign the contract regardless of the promise of having the house built within 1/2 year for rent return.

So sorry you chose them, I am still waiting after a year to get my whole kitchen fixed plus my ensuite which has cracked tiles throughout and leaked onto the carpet. Has been 2 years of hell. Good luck with it all...remember theres a builders tribunal should you have any problems after it is built. Don't hesitate to contact me should you wish to talk.

Bought a house, has taken months to even get any paperwork happening. Salesmen lie to get you to sign on the line and then don't follow up with their promises.

Approximate cost: $275000

Totally, I am in the same position now. Sales person lie after lie!
