A recent review reminded us that we have not been here for awhile so after an appointment, we ventured to Jetty Road, Brighton and ordered a slice and a mug of coffee. Sat outside in the weak sun as there was no breeze and really enjoyed a relaxing 30 minutes watching the world go by. It was extremely busy even on a Monday morning. Great selection of food too

If you are into Marilyn Monroe then this is the cafe for you, she is everywhere you look. We found it a bit overwhelming. This cafe serves up some great food, we really enjoyed our breakfast, yum bacon and perfect eggs, coffee was average though. Service was prompt and friendly.

My partner and I come here on a regular basis for breakfast. She loves the Eggs Benedict and especially their hollandaise sauce. I generally have whatever takes my fancy as the rest of the menu is equally as good as the rest.
I think the last time I was there, I made my own omelet with chicken, mushrooms and some other vegetable. When it came out, I was like 'wow'.
Always well stocked full of people, so there'd definitely a good atmosphere here

After walking out on the jetty at Brighton enjoyed a cup of coffee here. The coffee was fine and enjoyed sitting outside in the weak sunshine. Food was available and looked interesting but did not buy. (exercise, not eating is the rule)

I have been here a few times and it is always busy, especially at breakfast time. They are only open during the day and do a good breakfast as well as lunch time meals. The service is good and you can sit outside if you wish. The atmosphere is great as the place is well decorated with Marilyn Monroe pictures everywhere.

The idea of this cafe is fantastic and it has a great look. Its location is great especially on beautiful days. They are dog friendly outside and it is usually busy. The food and service is ok. Overall it doesn't stand out from any of the other cafe's in the street.

The coffee was so hot it burnt my mouth. The bruchetta bread was stale. The orange and poppy seed cake had no orange flavour what so ever in it. When I spoke to the waitress (only about the cake) she was very agroo and said it was how it was normally made and its gluten free so they taste different. Funny but my gluten free orange and poppy seed cake taste orange (after all orange is gluten free!) they have definatley lost myself and fellow dinner and my other families as customers

Loads of outdoor seating and lots of room inside too. The inside is decorated with everything marylin monroe and its a great place to just sit back and enjoy your surrounds in. The milkshakes here are the stuff of legends they are amazing!! So fresh and yummy! They also make a lot of fresh muffins and biscuits to and they are massive in size. The food here is great and they make a lot of gluten free and soy stuff even cakes etc. I have only ever had a coffee and cake here but i have seen other orders taken out and they look spectacular and my kids and husband are in love with the milkshakes. Highly recommended from all our family!

this has been my Favorited place to come for years. i love all the Marline stuff. it is very different. you can go out the back if you like and have a small intermite table , the cakes are to die for . i love all there slices and cookies. yum. there is so much to order from them . winter or summer.
