Used them 1 month ago,They did not scuff or mark anything. When they realized our bed wouldn’t fit up the stairs of the new house. No one panicked. They took a few measurements and brought it in through the window. They had a super toolbox for taking things apart and putting them back exactly the same way at an unbelievable pace. The maneuvering the lorry amazed me too. What a skilled lorry driver I just want to express how grateful we are. We couldn’t recommend A City Movers highly enough.

Just great movers, excellent communication a call prior to them arriving, and just overall friendly service. And the truck they used was big enough to fit everything in 1 go. Worked hard to make up for lost time. Wrapped up items extremely well and we had no damages. We would certainly recommend your staff for removal service! One of the best removals in Melbourne.!!

Matt and his team were lovely enough to move us on Sunday and I was so happy with the service I promised them to write a review.

One word: Excellent

The whole day went very well, we were very impressed how the men moved all our belongings so quick and efficiently, with no breakages or damage to our belongings. The move went far better than we thought it would be.
Matt and Andy were both extremely helpful. They were very polite and courteous and made the move less stressful for us as were pensioners. They were so organised and very quickly packed all our belongings into the truck with such expertise. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

Previously, I've always called a couple of friends to help me move, but last time I decided to use a removals company. Well, I first tried my luck with the cheapest quote offered by a company of gumtree which ended up costing much more with lots of frustrations and damages. When we moved again this time around I got recommended to try A City Movers by a colleague, and what can I say; they were great! friendly and careful with my belongings and put everything in the right rooms and position. So you learn. With my friends helping there are always damaged items, we usually go drinking afterwards and the bill is on me. Needless to say, hiring a moving company comes cheaper. A city movers recently moved us across Melbourne at really short notice. We have a fair bit of stuff including a very large collection of antique ceramics, some of it rare and very valuable, but it mostly has huge sentimental value. So we were really quite worried about the whole thing. We needn't have been! They had bubble wrap and all the know how to move it safely

From the moment we first contacted them they were super helpful and efficient. Matt did really thorough surveys before the move and let us know what was going to happen and when. During the move you normally expect some mishaps but these guys were really polite and friendly even though we live on the 1rd floor with no lift! Most importantly, everything was intact and in the right place when we moved into the new place.

On price, of the 4 companies we asked they were not the cheapest and also not the most expensive. In our view they are worth every penny...

If we move again we will be going straight back to them.

Many, many thanks for making our move so painless. Removing sliding windows to get couches out was achieved quickly and with no paintwork damage. I do not know how they managed to get my double door fridge out! Punctual, friendly and polite, your guys were great. My friends will be hearing about your company.

All the people we dealt with were excellent, but I would like to mention Mathew owner operator in particular.

We are over 70 and this was our first move, so we didn't know what we needed or how things should be done. Matt was very helpful and guided us through the process, making our move go off without a hitch.
