Jan 4th 2022 In all of these times the mower has been back and forwards they are a Mower repair place. If there was an issue or is an issue with the mower other than contaminated fuel they would have noticed it and regardless of whether they could fix it or not let me know like a car mechanic or anyone else that fixes your things. To me this just all seems to make no sense at all. If the mower was had it due to some coincidence which does happen ie the head or carby, something I would have bought a brand new mower from them and replaced it. Called them today swears is my mower and that no similar mower was serviced at the time. I decided not to give myself any more grief by going back again. Options now are take the mower somewhere else and identify the issue and see if it can be repaired to work properly if not buy a brand new mower and pick up some 2nd hand ones similar to get parts to fix issue if needed so I have as a spare. It sucks that Victas have Masport motors now. So this is the end. Moving on to sort out and figure out why elsewhere. Really hope it can be fixed.

3rd Jan This is cannot be my mower. At least if it is not makes sense now why it is not working the same.

2nd Jan Only starts on hot start only now minimal revs Not taking back again. I did see mower place start on hot start. So the questions is did they know or not that it was not fixed properly still. Had constantly pointed out the revs where to low and that the throttle seemed funny at the beginning in Oct and was told they do not touch that and cannot get the parts multiple times. Mower with catcher is awful no revs stalls have to walk super slow or else snuffs it. Also queried when picked up the first time was it my mower and did not look right different, Always recognized in the past. They made me think I was imagining things so dismissed it due to tone used in their reply. The mower is a Victa Tornado. 2 stroke.

31st Dec Update on outcome of below it just seems my Lawnmower wanted a break over Christmas as soon as taken out the boot at the mower center it started like a trooper on hot start. Thank you Dave for being so patient with me I have already mowed with it since coming home no more issues I mowed without the catcher and the flap tied up.

Oct 2021 First time customer of this Acacia Mowers due to the closure of Farmrite Mowers . My mower never missed a beat after a service before visiting here. Went In late Oct put my Lawnmower in for a service it also had contaminated fuel. I received my mower back about 2 weeks. It would not start usually 2-3 primes. Finally started mowed the whole yard very sluggish and had to go slow, 3 weeks later super hard to start took ages just mowed a few small strips to dry out the yard after rain tried to restart wouldn't. Just before Christmas tried to start wouldn't phoned them & took back. Just back today contaminated fuel again. Used different tin purchased new petrol put in guess what will not start. Wonder what it is now? Waiting to be called back will update on outcome...

These guys are super friendly and helpful. I bought an awesome whipper snipper here a year or so back and the guy spent ages with me showing me the options and then showing me how to use the thing! The store is well set up and had a huge range of products to suit everyone from the home user to a more industrial high end user. I recommend this place because of the extensive advice that I received - it always is reassuring to speak to someone knowledgeable before I hand over a wad of cash for something!

I needed replacement blades for my mower, and i got what I needed from the shelf.At the counter when I went to pay the man asked me what sort of mower I had, to check I had the right blades, and it turned out I had the wrong ones. Had he not cared he could have just put my sale through but his good service saved me a lot of hassle by nearly buying the wrong blades.

I have been using Acacia Mower Centre for years now and always find what I need and of course the friendly service is a added bonus. I would recommend them for anyone with mower troubles.
