This review is for Skylark Hot Bread, Inala QLD

This is a clean little suburban bakery. They offer a range of freshly cooked hot breads, cakes, sweets, and pastries. They also sell a limited range of milk, juices, and soft drinks. I find the lady to be friendly and attentive. This shop is just around the corner from my house - I enjoy my little Sunday morning walk for my fresh bread.

This is a fairly ordinary establishment. The coffee is reasonably good, and although the food is quite reasonably priced, it is poor in quality. The surroundings are comfortable with both inside and outside dining. There is a little fenced playground with non-smoking and smoking area at the back of the venue.

The best thing about this store is the range. There is little in the way of service (not even an eftpos machine last time I was there) and the quality of the items is not all that high, but it is an import shop and so that is to be expected. Definitely worth having a rummage through because there really is such a lot in there that you might find something you didn't know you needed!

This is a pretty little shop with very attentive staff. There is a large range of very cutsie little items for children to enjoy. It's a good spot to pick up relatively inexpensive gifts for children's Christmas or birthday presents. I wouldn't say the quality is particularly good, but the range is fun. I bought one infant 'onsie' here and I wasn't entirely sure it was fire safe as the stock is imported.

I actually love the kebabs from this place. My mouth is watering just writing this review! I have eaten here many times and have always enjoyed the quality of the kebabs. I primarily order the Falafel variety. In addition to the food being obviously fresh, and the kebabs being prepared well, I also appreciate the friendly service I have always received from the staff. I would definitely recommend this place as one of the best options at Inala Plaza for a quick meal.

I really like the set up of this pharmacy. They obviously get very busy so they've got more service staff than I've seen in other pharmacies. They are friendly, attentive, and competent and I've had a good experience every time I've been here (many times). Usually I go to get a prescription filled or to find a little gift on one of their gift racks.

This review is for Tandoori Mahal Indian Restaurant, Forest Lake QLD

The food here is quite good - I tend to stick to vegetarian dishes because I love a vege korma. The bread is delicious - cheese paratha is my favourite but the naan is awesome too. This is not your authentic Mumbai restaurant fare, but it is middle of the road anglicised Indian food that most Australians will be familiar with and enjoy.

This review is for Acacia Mower Centre, Acacia Ridge QLD

These guys are super friendly and helpful. I bought an awesome whipper snipper here a year or so back and the guy spent ages with me showing me the options and then showing me how to use the thing! The store is well set up and had a huge range of products to suit everyone from the home user to a more industrial high end user. I recommend this place because of the extensive advice that I received - it always is reassuring to speak to someone knowledgeable before I hand over a wad of cash for something!

This review is for Acacia Pet Supplies, Willawong QLD

This place is great for a wide range of pet food, gardening supplies, lucerne, and other general produce. You can even buy laying hens here (though they're careful who they sell them to - only to good homes - I like that about them). The guy and his wife who run the place are really helpful and they always have a smile and a chat. It has a nice yester-year feel to it as well - there aren't many produce stores left around Brisbane. I get my cat biscuits and cat litter here. I've also bought lucerne mulch and a range of random bits and pieces.

This review is for Greg Rowe Optometrist, Inala QLD

I have been to this optometrist once and my partner has also been to see him. I found him to be very accommodating in fitting me in for a vision test, and very knowledgeable in speaking out the issues I was having. His examination was very thorough and included digital tests for macular degeneration with associated images that he showed me on the computer monitor. All in all, a very comfortable experience with an optometrist who gave me a sense of confidence in his assessment. He also bulk billed which was a nice surprise.
