Addison's Seafood restaurant is honestly one of the best places to eat in the Illawarra. I have been here several times both casually and for the special occasions, and the food has always been outstanding. The service here is also amazing. Overall, great value for money.

Popped in for a lunch which had a special price of $25 for two courses. I had the catch of the day grilled and daughter had the Seafood and steak mix. Did not like the heavy greek style bread but service and seafood was well cooked and presented. I like the upstairs section which is opened when busy and summer comes otherwise down stairs is OK. It is always faithful to its name which has won acclamation over many years. Some updates to the menu would be good but worth the special prices.

When our meals arrived they looked fantastic as you can see by the photos. The serving size was great too, I detest paying heaps for a minuscule meal because the restaurant believes that you should be eating three courses. The duck consisted of duck breast, shredded confit duck leg , potato fondant (which I really need to learn how to make) poached pear, with red cabbage and cherry jus. It was sensational – perfectly cooked to medium, tender, gorgeous accompaniments, everything just worked. Paired with the beautiful pinot noir I savoured every bite, eating leisurely, the way we are meant to eat. The steak was perfectly cooked as well and the mashed potato creamy and smooth in the way that only a commercial kitchen manages to achieve. The food here is the best I have ever tasted. I had a Seafood tanker, and the seafood was amazing. I don't know how they do it but even the fruit that came with it was better than any other. The service was really friendly and personal. I would definitely dine here again!

What was to be a special Dinner ended up being one of the worst that we have had in what is known as a respected restaurant.
We checked there web site to see what was on offer for the night, it had not been updated so we looked at the set menu's that had been used befor & they looked ok with plenty of variety on offer, when we arrived we were seated and given a single A4 size menu stating that it is a set menu for the night .
The food was just not up to the standard you would expect from an award winning business.

Approximate cost: $69.00
