my family love the central markets, especially my son. We go every friday nite for dinner. we also do our weekly fruit and vege shopping there because of the large variety all in the one convenient location.

Approximate cost: $50.00

The Central Markets is a beautiful market just to walk around and look at all the stalls. The fruit & vegetables are so fresh and cheaply priced. There is organic foods, asian foods, bakeries, lollies, gifts, newsagents etc etc, everything you require.

The Central Market is such a fantastic experience and I love the quality and selection but more so the buzz of the place - no better place to head for quality produce, cheeses, fruit & veg, coffee/tea, continental goods and every other thing your taste buds could ever wish for - my bags are groaning when I leave just wish my stomach was as big as my eyes! A real treat for interstate visitors too, apparently it is unique in Australia so take friends and family there for a free and fabulous outing.

Every one needs to visit the Adelaide Central market it is a truly wonderful rewarding experience. It has co lour, flavor's, sounds and smells you can only find in a market. You can grab a coffee, have breakfast, try food from many different countries and by fresh seasonal fruit, veggies, meat and fish.

We go to the Central Market every week, I only wish we lived in the inner city, I would be there every day. There is no other place in Australia like the Central Market, all the fresh produce, the cheeses, the people, everything about it. There is something for everyone here. You can even cruise around sampling food and not have to pay for the privilege, how good is that.

OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS MARKET.NOT ONLY IS IT CLOSE TO WHERE I LIVE BUT THE VARIETY OF FRESH FRUIT AND VEG'S IS GREAT.I GO EVERY WEEK AND DO MY SHOPPING AND I SPEND ABOUT $100 AND I COME HOME WITH HEAPS OF FRESH PRODUCE.THE ONLY THING THAT BOTHERS ME IS THAT THERE IS ALWAYS LOADS OF PEOPLE AND I AM SCARED THAT I WILL LOOSE MY KIDS.THE ATMOSPHERE IS GREAT I LOVE GOING ON MY OWN IF I CAN AND JUST TAKING MY TIME TO LOOK AROUND.IT IS WORTH TRAVELLING THAT EXTRA JUST TO GET THE FRESH PRODUCE.

The markets are so much fun if you're into a bit of a cultural shop. With all the different shops that offer a huge range of different types of food from fresh coffee to cheeses.

Love visiting the central market especially the cheese shop I visited, I cant remember the name but its near the escalators. They had a very wide range of cheeses and they all look so delicious. Adelaide Central Market is the best place to buy your food compare to a normal supermarket! I recommend it highly to everyone especially interstate and overseas visitors.

Markets is always an exciting place to spend time. The variety is great and the people are always friendly. I find the service to be fast, the food is always fresh and they cater for people with food intolerances like myself.
