Had a night out and started off with dinner here. This well styled restaurant with awesome trinkets everything definitely adds to the atmosphere. The food did take a little while to come out but was quite tasty. Check this place out if your up for a night of exotic dining.

Came here for a birthday last weekend. Cool décor, really funky and the atmosphere is lovely. Staff are attentive, food is great and not too spicy. I did find the orders took awhile to come out though and they dint come all at once

Interesting place. Worth booking a table upstairs if you have a group of four or more. More tradition set-up and more atmospheric. Also not as loud.
The food seems to vary each time I come here, sometimes it's better than others. Still tasty, though.

Nice tasty food, good place to take a group of people. Tables upstairs have seating with cushions on the floor which adds to the experience.

Experience was detracted by the cleanliness of the restaurant upstairs. Downstairs seemed 'fresher'.

When I ate here I ordered the banquet. It was fantastic! Such a great variety of food with great service.

I would have to say this restaurant the 'Afghan Gallery' has got to be one of best places I've dined in the Fitzroy area. The food was really interesting and exotic, the service was good, prices reasonable and it leaves you talking about the experience. Check it out if you like to be a bit adventurous with you dinning experience.

Enjoyed a nice dahl curry here. Middle eastern food that has great flavour in each bite. Vegetarian options on the menu are good.

Great food, and friendly service. Go upstairs for authentic Afghan dinning experience with seats on the floor. One of my favorite restaurants in Melbourne.

Beautiful cosy Afghan decor - especially in the banquet rooms - and amazing food. I'd never eaten Afghan food before I came here with some friends, but it was amazing. The staff were really friendly and helpful too. It's been a while since I've been there, but I keep meaning to go back and take some other friends there.

Great authentic afghan food, great flavours and really helpful staff that talk you through the menu so you're not lost! It's really nice, warm and cosy inside - a different place to escape to on Brunswick street.
