ALDI

I use Aldi really strategically. Whenever possible I try to avoid going to either Coles or Woolies. So for the essentials I always start at Aldi's. Since they started in Australia, the variety of products has enhanced a lot. A huge amount of products is imported from Central Europe and they always know what's in demand. While this is not exactly the sustainable way, shipping products half way around the world, they still manage to beat the prices of Coles and Woolies, period. The fresh fruit and vegies corner is not always the best quality, but that seems to be a general problem with the big supermarket chains. In terms of service, Aldi personal is quick, knowledgable, educated and helpful. I think this is the biggest bonus you'll get at Aldi's.

Not sure about this Aldi. I've only been there once, and they didn't have the thing I went there for. I don't know if they didn't order enough, or sold out. But it was clean, and the carpark was clean. Not sure if it was new or not.

I didn't really like Aldi when they first arrived in Australia so I didn't go for several years. But Aldi have really evolved. Most of their products are good. I really like their cheese, olive oil and chocolate. I've tried a few things that I thought were inferior compared with Coles/Woollies but mostly their products stack up well. I'm not keen on their fruit and veg though - they aren't good quality or very fresh. Their prices are really good much cheaper than the major competitors and would really help a family budget. It would be great to be able to buy everything I needed there. Parking is always easy and the isles are nice and wide.

Aldi has everyday grocery supplies at an incredibly low price.
They also have great weekly specials which consist of anything from towels to bikes to fridges!
Everything is great quality and even though they have their own brand, half their stuff is made by the big brands for Aldi stores.
The staff are helpful and friendly. Also I've never had any trouble trying to return anything which is always a plus!

Aldi is great, they sell groceries at lower prices, which means that you save lots of money, its a great place to shop and they have a great range of products. I do my grocery shopping here as it is convenient and is cheap! the customer service is good and staff are friendly. Many families shop here and it saves them a lot of money compaired to their normal grocery bill.

umm i guess i got used to shopping at coles and thats why i didn't like having all the new brands and a lot of the things i wanted i coudn;t find, but it is very cheap just hasn't got the big named brands i am used to.

I shop every week at Aldi, it saves me heaps of money, as there isn't all the extra things that the other big supermarkets have, I can get 90% of your weeks shopping at Aldi, even though they have mostly their home brand items they are all just as good and the dearer brands, sometimes better tasting. i would recommend aldi to everyone .
