Great, cheap clothes. I get baby and kid clothes here, great bargains! It's a great place to shop especially if your on a budget.
They're ok, I get the 4c off occasionally, but last time we went to a servo, there was a 20c a litre and a 4c off a litre on there, and since it was only half a tank of petrol, we wanted to use the 4c. But we were told by the operator they can't differentiate between voucher, and once it's scanned that you have to use it (I think he just didn't know what he was talking about, what if he had the wrong pump?). Annoying.
We went here for a drink the other day, and it was really impressive when the renos were done a few years back. It just looks tired now. It was pretty deserted in the restaurant, but it was 3 in the afternoon.
We bought roof rack and a pod from here. Mother salesperson we saw (think he was the owner) was nice, helpful etc. the installer didn't say much at all. But the pod is incredible, it holds heaps!
We had pizza here the other night, and they were really nice for a change. We've had them before, and they've been greasy and unappetising. We got the prawn and cherry tomato, and that was really good, and the 'firebreather', which I wouldn't call it a fire breather, but it was nice. So good we're thinking of making it a monthly ritual!
We went and had yum cha here, it was ok, it might of been good in comparison to others though. The best thing was like a prawn wonton, deep fried. I'm not a big fan of pork, and heaps of the dishes were pork. We tried a chicken dumpling, but that was tasteless. It was good value though, $50 for 3 adults.
We went to the pool on the weekend, and we found the pools to be clean, not to heavily chlorinated. There wasn't much shade available, but it was a really hot day so not surprising! Not many 'hooligans' either, great for kids. It has a few outside pools, a toddler pool, a play park, a 50m pool, lifeguards, and I think a babies pool.
We usually get takeaway from here, or eat in if were seeing a movie. It's always great, so yum, and pretty decent prices. The only thing I'd say id it's a bit oily, but that could be Thai food? We nearly always get the Massaman Curry, which is so yum, tender bits of meat!
Approximate cost: $15-30
I went there to get my hair cut about 10-15cm shorter, and I feel like they just hacked it off! LOL but I guess that's what you pay for. The lady who did it was talking to the other lady in the store, there was hair all over the floor.
Approximate cost: $20-30
We went there with some work colleagues, and the coffee was ok, nothing to write home about. It was a bit bitter tasting. The staff were nice enough, but nothing extraordinary.
