Very unprofessional!
After providing their quote, we accepted and indicated we would want to use their service, they promised to come back after contacting their contractor but never did! We emailed them a few times but not response. At least they should have let us know they weren’t going to provide service for us so we could find another one soon.

All Hills Fencing installed new pool fencing for my property, the job was reasonably priced, the staff I dealt with were polite and professional and the job was completed on time, I would recommend them to anyone.

If I was able to give 0 stars I would. This is 100% my experience and I have all the photos and paperwork to prove it.

We enlisted All Hills Fencing a few years ago to install a sliding gate for us. Despite a conversation between myself and Jeff Norris (CEO), confirming the work to be completed, the job was not done according to our wishes. Tradespeople were not punctual, the project manager was non contactable. Our gate was supposed to be powder-coated, surrounding concrete would be replaced with a new strip that was level and a suitable lock would be provided. What we ended up with was not even close. They expected us to pay extra to fix the defects. Our complaint fell on deaf ears. We were given a $200 discount to go away.

As time went on, everything started falling apart. The concrete completely disintegrated, the lock seized up, paint continued to peel off, the gate constantly came off the track and filled up with water when it rained. After two years of putting up with it we’d had enough. I contacted the office and made a formal complaint. No response. Had to threaten legal action.

Magically Jeff Norris called me up. After a lengthy phone call, Jeff was supposed to call me to organise a suitable time. Instead he blew off me for me 3 months sending an occasional email blaming the weather.

In the meantime, a member of my family went in to to hospital with a serious health issue. AHF made no attempts to contact me during this time. When the family member was finally able to come home, I contacted AHF again and was told that ill health in my family wasn’t a good enough reason not to get back to them (they were supposed to be calling me).

Jeff Norris refused to return our calls, emails or stick to his promises. The one time he did call us, we were verbally abused for exercising our rights as consumers to get what we paid for. AHF was given multiple opportunities. They thought paying us $400 would make us go away.

We ended up going to the Tribunal. They made orders against All Hills Fencing to powder coat the gate, fix the drainage issues, fit a new handle and install a suitable lock. We asked if the sliding track could also be replaced at our cost since the old one was full of rust. They tried to rip us over $200 for a piece of track that cost $90

Work stalled. No response from Jeff. Sent a text message. Then he called and I copped the biggest foul mouthed barrage of abuse I have ever heard from anybody in my life. If there was a Guinness World Record for how many times you could use the “F” word in one minute, this guy would have won it. I was told in no uncertain terms what I could do with my gate and where I could put it.

Powder coating is pathetic. Had to fit the handle myself. The lock is a D-Latch which has been installed so close to the gate that you can’t fit a padlock through it to lock it. The job remains unfinished and never will be finished.

Jeff Norris is the rudest, most disrespectful, arrogant individual I have ever had to deal with on a building project. He clearly does not understand the concept of customer service and is more interested in justifying himself than rectifying problems. He clearly has some anger management issues which need to be addressed. Most of the reviews online for this business are from family members or employees. Speaks volumes. Reviews online indicate that other customers of AHF have had the same experience as me also and been abused too.

No-one should ever have to put up with foul mouthed abuse or having your life threatened simply for exercising your rights as a consumer. I have attached several pictures of the workmanship or lack thereof on this job. Do yourself and don't choose this company to install your fence or gate.

Totally disgusted with the customer service provided by All Hills Fencing. The contractors who installed the fencing were due to arrive on a Monday morning. They called saying they were delayed driving back from Canberra and would be at my place soon. When they hadn't arrived by lunch time, I phoned him, and he said he was "too tired" to come that day. I had taken the day off work to be at home for them. On Tuesday they turned up at 9am and worked for 2.5 hours, only managed to remove the existing side fence, then disappeared for the rest of the day. Wednesday they were on site most of the day, but only managed to install steel posts. Thursday all they managed was putting up rails on the steel posts, and again were gone by lunch time. Friday was their only decent day's work because I told them they had to finish that day. By the end of Friday, they had run out of palings and said they would return Monday morning. They didn't arrive until midday on Monday and left behind a full, open bag of cement. Apparently the All Hills Fencing representative didn't see anything wrong with the way these contractors worked, and can't see how they got the job done if they only worked half days on Tuesday and Thursday, so basically calling me, their customer, a liar. I would NOT recommend using this company at all. Such arrogance to treat customers this way.

Everything is fine until something goes wrong and then All Hills doesn't want to know about it. In my case the used electricity to power their equipment, their equipment causes a burnout and they don't want to know about it, they need to be chased for responses ended up offering half the cost to fix the issue and caused arguments with the neighbour. Don't touch these guys, I wished someone had warned me.

We purchased a colourbond fence from All Hills and they were great. They took down the old fence and replaced it with a lovely new fence and gate. They took away all mess as well. A little pricey, but worth it

I was provided a quote by jono who was able to come to my house without me being present which was a huge help. He talked me through over the phone what would be a good option for my house and yard and quoted me on other jobs which we will look at in the future. When the installer arrived he noticed that there may be an issue connecting the new fence to the original side fence. They were able to quote ad start work on an additional piece of work which has made the end result excellent. I can not fault the communication efforts with this organisation they are truly stand out to the others that quoted. They followed up and checked in throughout the process. The fence is great and they will install a letterbox if you provide it at a small extra charge. They are very competitive in their pricing... If u need a new fence or gate get these guys to quote for sure.

Thanks for the detailed review. We need a new fence to replace one that is falling over. Can I ask what was the length and type of fence you had installed? Did they remove the old one?
