Go the suburban cinemas!

great value - great movie selection - easy (free!) parking - no crowds

We have been patronizing Stafford City Cinemas for years!

I much prefer Hoyts Stafford to Event Cinemas Chermside because for one thing, the prices are so much cheaper. Being a smaller shopping centre has its advantages too; easy parking, fewer people, more convenient. If you want lollies, Sweethearts is just across the mall from the cinemas and you can buy by the 100g.

As with any cinema, food such as popcorn and a drink is expensive but hey, it's movie popcorn and part of the experience. The staff at the concession counter always do their best to help if you have vouchers or want to change your order.

The seating is comfortable and you don't have to pick where you sit in advance. Cinemas are kept clean and pleasant.

There are plenty of food options in the food court including Subway, kebabs, sandwiches, Fasta Pasta, roasts, coffee, muffins, etc. Eat before or after the movie.

Beach House and Fasta Pasta offer movie meal deals so check them out.

I always go to an AMC instead of birch cinemas, die to the fact of money! It's cheaper here & it's exactly the same thing. If anything, it's less busy & quiet than say chermside. (not on school holidays though lol) they're always hectic in itself but.

Great cinemas. Still first in best dresses for seating unlike other counterparts. Comfortable seats. Pricing still reasonable and great value for cheaper Tuesdays

I always have a great time at AMC Stafford and try to visit here over some of the larger cinemas. It's less crowded, cheaper and you don't have to chose which seat you want to sit in when you buy your ticket. The seats are comfy and there is always plenty of parking.

Recently I went to see Kung Fu Panda and enjoy the movie very much. The seating was comfy with good wide screen and sound system. The air conditioning temperature was right, not too cold or hot.

I love AMC cinemas at stafford - the prices are great (as with all AMC's) but the good thing about Stafford AMC is that it is so easy to park - there are always parks within meters of the cinema enterence and you don't have to fight your way through the whole shopping centre to get to the door. You also dont have to dress up too much if you don't want to - after all it is just the movies:)
