Great salon! (unlike the Just Plain Sh*tty suburban ones....)
Toni&Guy at The Emporium is a professional outfit that sells style! This salon that attracts the hip, cool, trendy set, (think Justin Timberlake a' la Suit and Tie!), but is in no way pretentious.
The stylists are well trained and are experts at their craft.
Great Service! Great Style! Great Salon!
Approximate cost: $150
So...now I understand...you just have to fly 6 hours across the ditch and take a short drive to find a cafe that has it all. A mum and daughter operation Santi's puts the east coast cafes to shame. Bright, bubbly, welcoming with excellent food, fantastic service and value for money Santi's could teach the supposed leading restaurants and cafes of Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne a valuable lesson in customer service. This place is a must when you are visiting the west!
Approximate cost: $18.99
Stella Rossa (60 Edward Street) consistently serves great coffee and tasty fare - it's a shame that the service isn't as consistent though....sometimes good, sometimes bad, most times strange....(!)
....and I don't agree with the "no change for parking meters" rule that they enforce....maybe if they had accommodated my request for a few lousy coins, I would have bought a coffee, but I was informed that a "customer must purchase" policy applies....I used to be a regular customer, but haven't been back since.
Approximate cost: $3-$5 (coffee)

Broadbeach is buzzing with busy bistros and beautiful babes and Sage Cafe Restaurant is the perfect place to take it all in!
This is indeed a nice place to nosh, however the staff are quite abrupt and seem focused on churning diners through the place.
