This snack bar has a great range but I cant help but feel they take advantage of the fact that they have a largely captive audience as there are not many lunch options in the area. all though the food options are good the serving size is very inconsistent so sometimes good value for money and sometimes far from it. Also you are often served chips that are cold when you can see the fresh ones sitting there - this is just plain mean and never fails to make you feel ripped off.

The concept of this place was good when it opened and the first couple of times I went in it was great - A nice casual bar to enjoy a drink and something in a mid price range to eat after or before a night at the movies. However recently it is more like having a cheap counter meal servied up in the foyer of your local TAB - prices are the same but the value for money has definately gone down

I love AMC cinemas at stafford - the prices are great (as with all AMC's) but the good thing about Stafford AMC is that it is so easy to park - there are always parks within meters of the cinema enterence and you don't have to fight your way through the whole shopping centre to get to the door. You also dont have to dress up too much if you don't want to - after all it is just the movies:)

Even though this bottlo is in a high socioeconomic area the price of there drinks are still very reasonable and in line with prices else where - dosent seem like a big thing but something that really annoys me about New Farm. The guys here are great - help you out when you ask but don't get in your face as soon as you enter the store - just good prices and service.

I went to this pharmacy chasing my regular prescription and thought I'd be cleaver and ask for the generic brand of the medication, a penny saved is a penny earned and all that, but was suprised to find that the generic brand was a couple of dollars more than the brand name version at my regular pharmacy - would hate to see the price of the brand name version!! - good service, just a little expensive, I don't approve of raising the prices just because your shop is in a high socioeconomic area.

This mitre 10 is great for a little hardward going up against the big guys - they have a very diverse range of stuff that shows a great sensitivity to the type of area they ar in and the style of customer they atttract - Even if I dont think they will have the random good I am chasing i will pop in and have a look - I am often suprised!!

Mrs Flanneries in Chermside is an organic grocery shop - has great supplies for those with allergies or who just want to avoid certain types of foods or production methods. The best are the snack foods for allergy sufferers that you can buy by weight from the bulk bins. They are a bit expensive but pretty good for that kind of outlet

I had had a lot of niggly problems with my back and I was very dubious when I started going to the Chiropractor but my back is fantastic now. These guys have all to xray and other diagnostic equipment and up to date practices but a relaxed atmosphere with pastpased adjustments so that you are in and out in minutes.

This is my favourite restaurant - we first went with the view of trying there woodfired pizza but still havent got to them as we are always lured away by the other dishes on the menu. The service is great too - they will give you a bit of extra time between entree and mains to chat if you want and you don't feel as though you are in somekind of production line. I really like sitting out in the courtyard too - it is a really nice atmosphere.

The food here is fantastic and despite being in a swanky cafe strip they keep the pretension low - good food (piled high and really yummy) really distinctive style and a relaxed atmosphere.
Good choice of drinks too - the canadian beer is good.
