great vibe and atmosphere. As mentioned below, the waiting time can be a trifle too long, but the selection of alcohol and the food is good.

This is a good place to hang out with friends, grab a beer and eat pizza. Lots of cool images of old cartoons/comic heros etc inside which make it fun. The service could be a bit better, but it's a bar so you don't expect too much.

A quirky yet fun restaurant/ bar with an 80s retro vibe provides for a comfortable and accomodating atmosphere. Argy Bargy offers a selection of gourmet pizzas accompanied by a wide selection of cold beers. If trying one of their pizzas, I would definitely recommend a 'Parmarama' (chicken parmigiana topping). Later in the week, Argy Bargy plays host to numerous local DJs and live music acts which makes for a great place to chill out with friends!

Approximate cost: $10

Nice to have another little bar to hang out in on Carlisle Street - and this one is really far away from the madding crowd! A bit younger in clientele than its Carlisle counterparts, Argybargy is a fun and easy place to grab a drink and a cheap pizza (and watch the footy too, if that's your thing!)
