This is no doubt the most AUTHENTIC and most VALUE Malaysian Restaurant in Sydney. Great portions for a low price and tastes which will leave you wanting more. Only on Saturdays they sell Nasi Lemak and my of my my favourite. There is no place which has this flavour which is like heaven in the mouth.
This place looks like an old style milk bar, conveniently located across from Ashfield Station. It's a great place to come for cheap Malaysian food. I always get the har mee ( prawn noodles) which have a lovely prawn broth and not too overpowering. My kids love the lady owner here who often give them lollipops! Great place for a quick bite to eat before you catch your train!

This place amazing with authentic Malaysian food. The coconut rice (nasi lemak) very nice also chicken rice. Nice to come here at weekend night. The place just across the station.
Approximate cost: $10
I'd heard good things about the Malaysian food here but I was a little underwhelmed...expectations were probably too high. Nevertheless, it serves reasonably authentic Malaysian - I had the fish curry. Generous serving of rice in stark contrast to the small bowl of curry. Don't forget the self-serve sambal at the counter - delicious. Overall, not too bad for a quick meal.

This is conveniently located opposite Ashfield Station so I always grab a chicken and salad sandwich from here when I need something to eat but I'm on the go. It's pretty ordinary kind of diner but they also do some Malaysian and Singaporean dishes which I must try one time. The sandwiches are pretty run of the mill but the service is efficient.
Approximate cost: $5-$15
