we had a lovely meal here not long ago, the food was great, my steak was cooked exactly as I like it and my partners rissotto was delicious as were our friends meals of Thai beef salad and a trevally seafood dish. The staff were pleasant and the atmosphere was good. We enjoyed it.

We spent a day in Richmond recently, and called in to Ashmore's for both morning tea and lunch. For morning tea we had a choice of a large number of interesting blends of tea (a real delight), and an array of delicious sweet treats. For lunch we chose the Moroccan beef salad and a frittata. The beef salad was exceptionally delicious - the beef was tender and full of flavour, served on an abundant, delicious fresh salad. The frittata was also full of flavour, and served with a tasty, fresh salad. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed - a cosy place to stop for a delicious meal. You'll also find Ashmore's in the fine dining section of the Entertainment book - an added bonus

Dined here recently as a member of The Richmond Village Fair Committee for a "wind up Dinner" after the Fair.
A group of 11, we had a 3 course meal with excellent menu choices. The Cauliflower Soup was thick and a beautiful consistency, very flavoursome, there was an alternative soup but I think we all went with the Cauliflower. Mains were a choice between Chicken Breast with a creamy mushroom sauce or Steak with a jus, my partner and myself went with the Chicken Breast, cooked to perfection served on a bed of seasonal vegetables. The Dessert was a delight to behold, a rich chocolate cake, 3 layers of decadence topped with fresh strawberries, with whipped cream in abundance in separate bowls to be added with abandon if you didn't have to worry about your diet. The establishment is BYO, the setting was fantastic, a great atmosphere, great company, really attentive staff.
A fantastic venue for a evening.
There are also artworks around the walls which are for sale and I was amazed by the photographs on brushed metal by a local photographer, must go back for afternoon tea next week and see if they do layby on the artwork.

Drive pass here regularly and decided to go in for dinner. After ordering waited an hour before the food was brought out to people at the table with long gaps between each. There were only 3 other tables, maybe 10-12 people in total.
Food was okay but not much more then a good home cook meal.
