Read the other reviews and I just didn't taste it.

The staff are, as expected, friendly and helpful. Agree with other reviews.

I got there before 1200 and they didn't have my initial requests, actually it was only one or two of the pies of each type available and only one sausage roll.

I've tried three of the takeaway items: Meatloaf sandwich, Moroccan lamb pie and the chilli meat sausage roll; only select items can be takeaway.

The meatloaf sandwich, which was toasted (heavily compressed sandwich toasted) was done on a Vienna style loaf of brown bread (think of a small shoe sole for shape) and was so squashed I only id the gherkin by taste. The gherkin is the main taste so it should be called the gherkin sandwich. I did find and pulled out a bit of the meatloaf, it must have been more bread then meat as it had no taste. Grill toasting would have been better, but maybe you aren't meant to id the components; the rest was a melt cheese or white sauce(?). For a $12 sandwich it's not worth it, the ingredients could have been the finest, but squash to pieces it didn't matter.

The Moroccan lamb pie. I like lamb and know what it tastes like. I've also had Moroccan lamb before and yes I wouldn't expect too much from a pie version, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't lamb. Yes the spices could have hidden the taste, but they weren't that strong, quiet mild actually and I've tasted lamb in spicier dishes. The pastry was fair, if a bit oily.

The chilli meat sausage roll was what it said and quiet large, so no problem here. A little stronger then I was lead to believe, but it was chilli and meat (a fine mince). For others, the chilli was strong enough to burn the inside of the mouth. The pastry is the same as for the pie, oily enough to turn a brown paper bag clear – this may be a good thing for some.

Sorry I couldn't see anything to make this place special or worth going back to.

They run a restaurant (basic, clean and well served, friendly staff; nothing special, but nothing wrong with it) and a takeaway - hole in the wall. The main turn over is from the takeaway side.
Prices are good and the proportions are large for both businesses.
Not a five star restaurant, but they are not aiming to be. I work in Hobart and this is the best takeaway Chinese I have found and rates higher then most restaurants I've been in, if rate purely by taste.
The seafood spring rolls are a favorite of mine. The sauces are good and the meat tender (not that old sliced roast meat leather some serve).
They have a large menu (on paper) which can be collected from the counter, but no web presents.

Approximate cost: $19-26

Order online regularly from Mwave.
Prices are better then other sites I trust (probably a key word). They have a good range of devices and good delivery times. Unless its out of stock always in a week and sometimes better.
Staff are helpful and can be spoken to via a phone. Had one mix up on an item and it was quickly fixed. To me its how they handle issues that makes them a good company, not that they sometimes (rarely) happen.
The above quality is based on the condition of the item's box and packing.

Place runs like clockwork.
Apart from having someones hand in my mouth, I could have been at a friend's place having a chat. No discomfort barely felt the needle or the rest of the procedure and no after effects. Pays to get the good stuff.
All staff friendly and informative. Didn't feel rushed.
Not familiar with dentist fees, but cheaper than expected and well worth the care and not having to wait.

Drive pass here regularly and decided to go in for dinner. After ordering waited an hour before the food was brought out to people at the table with long gaps between each. There were only 3 other tables, maybe 10-12 people in total.
Food was okay but not much more then a good home cook meal.

As a Tavern this place is surprising. Decor not the best, but they have only had it a few months.
The food is good and comes in large portions. They are happy to change things around on the menu. Staff are friend without being over bearing.
The mountain beef schnitzel is served on a pizza plate and is about 5mm thick and tender without gristle nor does it shrink inside the crumbs - comes with chips, veg, gravy as expected. I've had 3 of these and all good. All lunches.

Approximate cost: $20
