I believe if that you do not enjoy the job you do then its best if you look at a career change. i understand that many jobs have parts of it that is boring or not enjoyable however when you work with paying customers then you just have to ' suck it up'. I have met two accountants at Austax in Townsville that appear to not like their job. The last guy I saw would reply to my questions of what i can claim with " Probably Not" or " Not Really" with an extremely bored demeanor. I young lady i was previously seeing who made tax time almost enjoyable and she was helpful had left .... I wonder why??
So after several years of AUSTAX I go to another company and pay $90 less than at Austax for the exact same service and more passion .

You have to do it every year. It's boring. But for a chore, they do their very best to make it as easy as possible. Having been now 3 years in a row (seen a different agent each year) they are all thorough and maintain a database that makes claiming much easier. We are a defence family with investments (that we usually screw around with making us one of those annoying clients) but they help us sort through to claim the maximum.
