Always there when you need them and up front about costs

My previous vet clinic of 40 years no longer offers after-hours emergency work (!), so I tried Avonsleigh. They are reliable and transparent with the costs and options available for the well-being of my animals. The team are caring and they look after everyone - two legs or four.
They are a rare find these days considering the way that vet practices seem to be going. Thank you Avonsleigh!

Staff are wonderful to deal with and really know what they are doing. From reception though to vet consultation, staff are easy to talk to and have the best interest of your pets at heart. All are amazing and so caring.

Thank you for caring and always doing your best for my family - rescue and my own.

Always helpful receptionists, great vets. Nothing is too much trouble. Easy to make appointments, assist in emergency, and reminders for follow-ups.

First started going when our 3 year old cat came down with Acute Renal Failure. From opening up at 10:30pm on the Friday night to calling us every day (including weekends) and letting us visit with our kitty every day the staff were friendly and did all they could. (cat on IV drip for a week, multiple blood tests, the nurses coaxing her to eat)

Range of vets from young to the older experienced gentleman, all supported us with our week long battle to save our cat even if it meant dealing with someone who was doing alot of research on the internet about the cat's problem and throwing a million questions at them (me :) )

Best vet in the area. Not cheap, but animal care rarely is. We still get a 10% discount on everything we buy and services.

Oh, and the cat survived!

Approximate cost: $50-$100

Staff know what they are talking about. In our case have treated dogs, sheep, pigs & chooks. Not cheap, but which Vet's are? Have a Lot of products that you need in a hurry in stock. e.g. calcium for sheep that are down after lambing, formula for abandoned lambs. If you need a Vet you can trust, you can't go past these.

This is a fantastic veterinary clinic. The staff are incredibly friendly, remember you and your pets which I think puts any business up a notch. They are very efficient, sending worming reminders etc. My kids are always shown what is going on so they love going there as well. I've dealt with quite a few vets in my life but would recommend this as the best yet (except Hugh Wirth who was exceptional!).
