Went to this cafe for breakfast today. The food was nice but nothing special. Staff were friendly but we did wait quite a while for our food. I acknowledge it was busy but that can be expected in January in a holiday town. Overall, good cafe but not one of my favourites.

We had a lovely meal at Barwon Orange recently. the food was great, the service however was pretty average. the restaurant was quite busy (which is no excuse) and the waiter was bordering on rude with us on a couple of occasions. To top off our average experience, we were overcharged and when we went back to query the bill, it was not handled very well, almost as though we we're in the wrong.

One of the better places in barwon heads to eat, wood fired pizzas are the pick. Value too compared with some of the other (reasonably expensive) places nearby.
Had a lamb pizza, was tasty enough that i've now attempted to replicate at home. Very enjoyable setting in the north facing courtyard (ie sunny and sheltered) to have a wine or 2.

Delicious wood fires pizzas in a cute setting in Barwon Heads. I can highly recommend the pumpkin one, it has lovely flavours! Good wine and friendly staff makes it a great place to meet your friends for dinner.

Very relaxed cafe that serves good coffee, lunches or dinners. You can sit inside in the converted house or outside on the fully protected deck. Reasonable prices and family friendly.

Like every Sunday in Barwon Heads, there were people everywhere looking for a relaxed meal. Barwon Orange is a cosy cafe in a converted house. A reasonably sized room indoors and then a deck of similar size. We were on the deck on a bright but windy day in June for lunch. They had the clear Perspex shades down to keep us sheltered from the wind, and a small overhead heater keeping the room warm. Service was quick and friendly and the food delicious. Good quality and a great range with breakfast available all day (at least on Sunday).

Approximate cost: $20
