I ordered takeaway. 45 mins after it was due i received a call to tell me my address didnt exist, and that the cross street i had given also didnt exist.....after a fair bit of giving directions the pizza arrived, lukewarm, tough and with very thin toppings.....not nice!

Approximate cost: $15

This is a sweet little pizza shop located on the lower end of King St on the way to Sydney university. I've been here once and tried a gourmet proscuitto pizza which was around $23 for a family size. The pizza was tasty and fresh, I loved it. Thumbs up, I would recommend this to anyone looking for top quality pizzas.

Approximate cost: $25

If you're looking for top quality food and great service then Basil's the place to go. They have a huge range of gourmet pizzas and cater for everyone. The pasta's are always fresh and full of flavour. We go to basil regularly and have never been disappointed, would highly recommend it!!!

I initially tried this place after seeing a "vegan lovers" pizza listed on a leaflet menu. Of course I had to try it. It was delicious and they use a soy cheese that melts so nicely. They also did this soy cheese and garlic bread (on a pizza base) which is really really good. Since the initial vegan lovers pizza, they have expanded to a whole menu of vegan pizzas (yes they still do carnivorous ones and apparently they are good too), vegan breakfasts and even a vegan pie. The coffee is also good with nice soy milk, not the ones that taste like flour, and the service is always friendly. Prices are pretty good- but not being a regular pizza eater, I don't have much to compare it to. Overall, I love the place and recommend it to not only vegan/vegetarian/gluten free people, but the omnivorous kind also.
