We chose this restaurant by accident, and were lured by the exotic menu and rose petals thrown at us by the entertaining manager of Souk outside the door.
The ambience and internal decor created a lovely setting worthy of a special night out. The menu was extensive enough to cater for a range of tastes. The service was excellent. I found myself coveting the food of my neighbouring guests also. The only down side was the price, which was fair but not cheap. The Moroccan lamb with mint caviar entree was expanded to main course style and accompanied by a delicious and aromatic tagine. A refreshing beetroot and orange and walnut salad freshened the palate, whilst a couscous side soaked up the divine juices in the tagine. We finished with a beautifully presented mezze dessert plate. Each of the four desserts was special in its own right and differentiated from traditional desserts by the simple hint of aniseed or rosewater.

This is a bit of an establishment in Botany. We've dinned here numerous times over the years. The food is average to above average, prices are comparatively high for what you get and for the ambiance but locals come here because there is little else on offer in the area. My wife and I went here for dinner the other night without a booking. There was one table of 4 available which they gave to us. Amazing food, garlic bread is a whole pizza cut up and delicious, pasta freshly made and sauce spot on with fresh daily seafood, pizza omg the pizza best I have ever had, atmosphere brilliant and authentic, service attentive and unbelievably homely considering they were flat out, highly recommend! !

We have eaten here several times over years but not for a while so we decided to give it another go and glad we did.
The food is still great, fresh and tasty.had the banquet for two of us and had to take a doggy bag. All the food was fresh, authentic and delicious! The restaurant is dated in its styling and furnishing but the food will take your mind off that. The service is friendly and they make you feel like part of the family.

This review is for Sushi Suma, Surry Hills NSW

Have been going to sushi suma regularly for nearly a decade now. Always great food. Recommend the Kaiso Salad and the Set Menus. Way too much food and you never know whether they will bring the whole catastrophe. This is by no means a 'fancy' Japanese restuarant - but if you're looking for a reasonably priced, consistently good Japanese with generous servings this place is for you. It's BYO too. The service wouldn't be described as friendly - but it's very functional and quick. A good, neighbourhood choice.

This review is for Urban Thai, Waterloo NSW

Dined couple of times due to the convenient of the location. The food is ok, I have had better Thai food. But I would recommend as the overall is acceptable. Had lunch there on a weekend with my husband. The tofu cubes in his duck pad thai were so over-fried that it was like eating rubber. Looked like they were deep-fried the night before or early morning on the same day and then left there (and re-fried before they were served?), and having stale oil squeezed out when you bit on them wasn't a pleasant experience.

This is an oasis were you can come back to after any activity. Not far from David Jones and Westfield Mall for shopping Circular Quay and Martin Place railway station. The service is excellent and the snacks and drinks are very well served. Private check-in and check-out at the lounge. It has a nice atmosphere, the staff were very polite and there was plenty to choose from both food and beverage. Excellent service and choice. Very relaxing. Cost was a little high but worth it compared to the other parts of the hotel.

This is a wonderful family-style restaurant. The service stands out as well above average. They are immaculately dressed, and they are very professional in dealing with your questions and your order. The menu is perhaps a bit too extensive but still fabulous. We had the Butter chicken and Korma vegetables and a spicy beef entree. The ambiance is authentic and lively. Fantastic with no corkage too. Favorite dishes are Lahori Chatkhare, Peshwari Naan and Karela. While we waited, the waitress kept me company with thoughtful conversation. I will definitely return.

This review is for Silvas Portuguese Traditional Charcoal Chicken, Petersham NSW

Silvas has the best chicken burgers in sydney if you ask me. The staff are very friendly and i've never had anything bad on the menu. I fing the chicken here is better cooked and also they have more variety of heated sides to go with meal. Try the Silvia burger with fries and drink for $10. You will not find better. Strongly recommend your next outing and if you are close I think it is a great takeaway spot.

This review is for Petersham Charcoal Chicken, Petersham NSW

This is the best place to eat chicken in Petersham. The service is horrible, you smell like a barbecued chicken when you leave and there is always a long queue, but these aspects of the "restaurant" are outweighed by the burgers. The chicken is moist and tangy and I love their chips ( extremely generous serving). Peri-peri sauce is absolutley delicious. Highlight was pork belly. Crisp, full of flavour, better in house than take away.

They brought what you wanted to the table. It was all very unhurried and civilised. BBQ yes over cook NO! The meat was beautifully prepared an interesting variety of beef pork chicken and sausages, There was even offal offered (and accepted yummy stuff).
They even have there own beer (or a very small boutique label supplier) that was excellent to drink (as well as the standard beers). Over all a very pleasant and unhurried meal. Highly recommended because we will definitely be going back
