Bay City Burrito - Mexican Restaurant

This place really does have the best burrito like they say! I had the Fisherman’s Wharf. Yum! The pineapple salsa and cabbage slaw was a welcome addition and cut through the chipotle. I can’t to go back!

This place has heaps of variety that is gluten free or they can change some thing to make it gluten free for you.

As a bonus the food is amazingly good.

damn this place is the bomb. And they're huge! I love coming here on a cold night and the people that work there and patrons are pretty cool and qwerky. BEST BURRITOS EVER

I was originally skeptical when Bay City took over High Tech Burrito - but alas, these are the most amazing burritos ever! Great quality, service and taste - only thing is there's no real parking around.. so if you're driving watch out and read the signage properly.

Very good but i'm not sure it's 5 star worthy... I had there mamouth burrito and jeepers was it filling. My girlfriend had a normal sized one and couldn't finish it.

I like this place, it's on of the best mexican restaurants in Melbourne (not better the Fonda), and I will keep coming here.. But it's not full Mexican style and it's typically Australian taste Mexican food.

Still very good though!!!

the burritos here are so yummy and very big and filling. i really like the fact that all the sauces etc are made there and arent bought from big chains so you know your definately getting the best and freshest. staff here were very friendly and my family really enjoyed our trip here .

tried a street taco and some nacho and they were both so tasty. the pricing was great aswell, given how great the quality was. staff were very friendly and the shop was very clean

very nice and cosy place, i loved the beef burrito i had it was made of high quality ingredients and quite a decent size,the staff were extremely welcoming and we really enjoyed our dinner

For only 14.50 I had a tasty grilled steak with onions, cheese and some rice. I'm a big fan of the melted cheese, especially in combination with salsa and lime sour cream. Also, you should try the prawns - they are mouth-watering!

the food was amazing the staff well trained and very helpful California styled Mexican cuisine which was so good and healthy one of the best in melbourne, the GODZILLA BURRITO was the best, Steak & Chicken, beans, spanish rice, cheese, guacamole, lime sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, black olives and mild salsa in a grilled flour tortilla A+++ A must for all to try

Small yet cosy establishment, the guys behind the counter were most helpful in recommending and explaining the vast array of delights on the menu. The food was absolutely perfect, fresh and tasty and prepared on the spot. Highly recommend for just a snack or the Mexican banquet.

Burritos were good but I have found there are better around. Menu has good variety, food is cooked while you wait but service and atmosphere a bit lacking. For fast food, its a bit pricey.

Food was amazingly delicious. I really enjoy mexican food. tacos was brilliant. The staff was helpful and help me to decide what to eat and what drink would go well with the meal.Overall, outstanding experience.I will try this place again.Recommended!

The range of the burritos here is amazing. it was a blast eating here the food was delicious. the staff was so friendly to me and the prices fr the food was very good. i definitely recommend this shop

Fabulous range of delicious and healthy burritos, easily made wheat free and/or fructose-friendly if you choose the burrito in a bowl" option. Not the cheapest, but excellent quality and wonderful friendly service. And the Mexican soda is a plus!

As a rule, I do not give a full selection of 5 starts to anyone.(there is always something at fault) - but this Restaurant is not too far away. The food, service, atmosphere is good rating and it costs less than $20 for a substantial meal with a drink (soft). Like all Mexican meals there is cheese and fried cooking - but really found it hard to criticise (there are people like me). With Mexican food,you can eat healthily and cheaply and feel satisfied. Recommended.

This is one of my favourite Mexican shops. I love eating Mexican and a lot of places make me sick after, but this is one of the only places that don't make me sick. I recommend this to people around the area or just love Mexicans. Xx

I went to this place a long time ago and loved it. Hey do Mexican food like no one else. They have friendly staff which is a reason why the food is so good. Would recommend it if you want Mexican food.

Mexican, mexican, mexican! This is a great restaurant. The food is tasty (mild or hot depending on your taste buds) and the service is great. I love the flag poles where you raise the flag if you want service at your table. Much better than yelling out and waving your hand in the air!

This is one of the yummiest Mexican restaurants around, their burritos are just scrumptious!Do try this place!

greatest burrito I've ever eaten, Only issue I had with it was it could have been larger. people were very polite and its a great location.. two thumbs up for this Mexican shop.

My fav Mexican eatery! Always friendly service there. Baja is my favourite burrito! Everything in the burrito or nachos are really well balanced and won't leave you feeling ill.

Since trying High Tech 5 months ago this is my FAVOURITE place to get a HEALTHY, LOW FAT AND DELICIOUS meal. I love the yellow curry burrito and the prawn salad....thanks for being the only good take away/casual restaurant that actually makes good food! YUM

As an American, I feel like somewhat of an expert on Mexican food. This plays blows the doors off any other place I've tried in MEL. If only they had queso and Dos Equis! They could be a little more gracious with the chips but I still highly recommend it.

Oh my god...these burritos are amazing. I'm a HUGE Mexican food fan and this is definitely the best take away Mexican food in Melbourne.

Finally a real burrito joint in Australia! It's not the Mission, but it's not far off...great place and will no doubt become a regular haunt now that i've found it.

This is the real deal - we've searched the city for a great burrito and have had to go no further!! High Tech is the ultimate make it yourself, have it your way, all the ingredients are great kind of place. It's no where near us (Gary we're ready for the Elwood expansion!), but whenever we're on that side of town, one of our family of four is bound to suggest "burritos" which means only one thing - High Tech - and we inevitably make the trek!

being from the more veg friendly suburbs i struggle to find anything to eat when traveling for work. a friend mentioned this place so i thought id check it. i was so impressed at the way the girl at the front checked the depth of my vegie-ness to make sure i didnt get any nasties and without once making me feel difficult! she was right when she recommended the tofu too, helping me personalise my item from her own experience - ill be back for tofu and thai sauce!
